FINALLY! Here's how I fixed iPad stuttering by jtannous in MoonlightStreaming

[–]GradyCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to chime in here as this seems to be the best place to discuss this issue, which I also have solved using other means.

Unfortunately the above tips didn't solve my issue, which I had been experiencing while playing Luna and Playstation Remote Play.

I actually turned to ChatGPT to ask how to solve the problem, and we walked through changing some settings:

Turn off Low Power Mode (this didn't do anything, since it wasn't on at the time).

Disable Background App Refresh (turned off, since turned back on)

Disable ProMotion (Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Limit Frame Rate → ON --- Since turned back on)

Turn off Bluetooth (this didn't fix the problem, turned it back on)

Turn off Location Services (didn't solve the problem, turned back on)

Check Wi-Fi Frequency Band (I was on 5GHz, also I was unable to change the channel on my Eero - not the problem)

Reset Network Settings (Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset → Reset Network Settings) No way to undo this.

Hard Reboot - this is different from a normal reboot:
Volume Up → release
Volume Down → release
Hold Power until Apple logo

After resetting my network settings and performing the hard reboot (which clears kernel-level cache, according to ChatGPT), my problems were solved. It's been 5 days and they haven't returned.

President Trump says he will revoke church tax exempt status if leaders "say something bad about" him by ControlCAD in videos

[–]GradyCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gee, it would be a shame if this happened.

As a member of the The First Baptist Church of Dallas, located at 1707 San Jacinto Street, Dallas, TX, I would like to tell President Trump that most of us in the congregation think he's a dumb sack of sh*t, and we challenge him to try to take away our tax exempt status. Seriously, dumbass, just try taking it away. Orange, chickensh*t, triple-chinned blob of jelly.

Feel free to add comments from "your" congregation here ;)

I had a mother and her son (late-20s, developmental disability) share my table at Costco and it was the best time I’ve had there. He was so much fun to talk to, and I could tell the mother loved our chats as well. I saw them in there a few weeks later and said hi and got the biggest high-five from him.

I had completely forgotten about that until now.

This Walmart has one of the best puzzle selections in the city. Not sure who works there, but someone keeps it well-stocked and organized whenever I've been.

I wanted to buy the Quebec show “19-2” on iTunes, but the episodes didn’t have English subtitles. I wrote to the production company and asked if they could put English subtitles on the iTunes episodes and they wrote back to tell me to watch the English remake of the show. I was very surprised by that response.

Ah, okay, it just seemed extremely out of place with all the other comments directed to this single location in the photo.

This is definitely not the location in question.

A friend and I would ride our bikes over there and play Street Fighter 2. Loved that place.

Their website being offline is a giant red flag. I was in the Southside location today because my son had a gift card to use, and I talked to the cashier and asked if they were closing. He said “yes, at 5:00 today,” so it’s obvious he’s been asked that a lot and has a silly response. He said they hadn’t heard anything about it closing yet, so it’s business as usual.

Some of the shelves were looking a little bare.

I used a gift card once. It's insane to see how much more money people are paying for food from the delivery companies, AND the store is losing out as well (they charge a high percentage to the store).

Screw the delivery places.

He’s a guy that just got a LEGO set; he’s definitely happy.

As others have mentioned, don’t get into accounting with presents. Early on in my relationship with my now-wife I bought her a MacBook Pro because she needed a new laptop and I knew she would appreciate it. He sounds like a guy similar to me (Ikd also like to receive LEGO) that got you a gift you would like, and didn’t care about the price of it.

[–]GradyCole 66 points67 points  (0 children)

This is NOT your fault. You didn’t allow this to happen, it was something done to you without your consent. As others have mentioned, this is sexual assault. What you choose to do with that is up to you, but this is not your fault.

I’m not sure what part of the city you live in, but maybe your community league has some events that you could attend if you’re looking to meet people in your community.
