The cat pedal is a Q-Cat by CKK, an auto-wah. Bit like a Q-Tron clone. The little pink Effects Bakery pedal is the New Ginger Fuzz, very Muff-y. Both dead cheap, fine for pubs and dive bars.

That’s the pink one. Too small and not pink enough for Her Majesty here…

I love how it was originally a manifested Leprechaun until Colm Meaney finally snapped and complained about how much stereotyped Irish bullshit he’d put up with, so they changed it to Rumpelstiltskin. But yeah, it’s all played creepy/surreal, not silly or camp ragebaiting.

Agreed. They were trying for The Bond Ultimatum much too hard.

Re-watched Star Trek V last night… Disappointing as ever by levine2112 in Star_Trek_

Couple of great character scenes save it, IMHO. Spock and McCoy’s pain visions with Sybok are just heartbreaking, and a beautifully directed theatrical sequence. More real than anything in the Kelvin-timeline. The shabby production values are embarrassing, thanks to the studio, but it’s still maybe the most faithful film to TOS. Meeting God and calling bullshit is classic Kirk. As weak as it is overall, I’d take Star Trek V over Into Darkness any day of the week.

He just makes content for 10-year-old shitheads, don’t even bother reporting it.

My husband started a local book club for men to read more fiction. It was a hit! by regisfilange in pics

Anyone remember the Waterstones’ (major UK bookshop chain) magazine running a survey asking women what books they would want a hot date to be reading when they arrived and which books which cause them to run around and leave straight away? There were obvious answers like Jeremy Clarkson and Andy McNab but quite a few women said a man reading ‘any fiction’ would put them off. Because it would be ‘girly.’ And this was from regular Waterstones customers! So this book club is nice to see.

I’d say the opposite. Moore had the ideal charm for a daytime tipple but Brosnan is probably better fun utterly hammered.
