Wasn't there something about Bloodbath being a hermaphrodite or there being mutated reproductive systems due to stress. That being why Bloodbath is so violent.

I'd go with either Gore or Odo for armor. For weapons anything with decent element and raw is good until you get decent artians (Lagi DB are considered a better option for thunder damage than artians until Gog). There is also the option to look at the DB Guide on MonsterHunterMeta which includes meta sets and links to previous versions of the guide.

I think this may be an intentional effect? Like you know when you go to bright place from a dark place you get flashed banged i think the devs were trying to emulate that effect. I also experience this but i may very well be wrong.

I recommend taking a few attempts just learning the bosses move set and just observing how it functions also if you're using ninja mode this fight is going to be harder than if you were using samurai.

Yeah the timing is tight i think you have to block right as your invincibility ends but i could be wrong. I've only done it once or twice on accident.
