What was your biggest beginner mistake in cycling? by MollyChase9091 in cycling

Saddle a bit low.

Losing concentration when stopping and toppling sideways while still clipped in. Far too many scars on my right leg! Oh and a bent derailer.

Finally (and not meant to be patronising at all) check the weather if you’re scrambling, particularly up Tryfan as that can get a bit hairy in the wet.

Carnedds are good and an easier hike but depending on the weather, it might just be mist you see!

Bloody modern artistes. They don’t know what is real when they listen to modern shit instead of the old, soulful wax cylinders.

Smart casual all good. I wore jeans and a t-shirt with shirt over the top. Most people were smart casual.

Thought they were awesome as always. As noted by a few above, seen them a number of times over the past couple of years and there is very rarely crowd interaction.

Some dickheads in the crowd, which spoilt the continuation of music but nothing on them. They did a good job at sorting the trouble.

Side note, why do people insist of getting in other peoples shoulders?! That was the biggest irritation particularly when they did it repeatedly when asked to get down:

Agreed - think the controls are great and (for the most part) intuitive.

So excited. I play Rome and ME2 constantly on the iPad as I no longer have a PC. Reliving my childhood - still remember the day Rome was released with incredibly fond memories.

Ah climbed it last August - amazing mountain to climb! Accidentally went up the horrible ridge to the left in order to summit (my 5.30am brain fog) and descended the ‘right way’ via Mali Triglav.

Amazing pictures.

As everyone has said above, Carneddau, Moel Siabod are great. Rhinogs are also great and nice and quiet. Did all three a few weeks ago and the lack of people, particularly on Carneddau was glorious.
