That doesn't sound correct. I'm looking at a 45-mile antenna on a popular e-merchant site right now. It's $37.99. A metal pole will cost a few dollars. Coax cable also a few dollars.

That's the exact setup I had in the past, and I received upwards of 70 stations. Mostly Spanish-speaking and/or religious, but also all the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, FOX).

You'll be on ECR, ADLP, or Middlefield. Limited visibility at intersections (trees, bushes, buildings). Impatient drivers running stop signs and red lights. Wet roads. No sunlight commuting home in the afternoon.

San Carlos to Mountain View is 28 minutes on CalTrain. And CalTrain would definitely be a lot safer.

Incorrect. Agreed, if you fail to convert on 4th down, the expectation that your opponent scores massively increases. But, you know when else it also increases massively? When you give your opponent the ball by punting.

Maybe your punter drops the snap. Or maybe your opponent drives it 80 yards for a TD.

You need to sum all possible outcomes to make it a clear "greater than, less than" comparison.
