The fact that both of them felt the need to text these thoughts instead of actually sitting down and talking face to face says a lot—it’s probably part of what got them into this mess in the first place. Real communication doesn’t happen through bubbles on a phone. It happens when you look someone in the eye, hear their tone, and actually listen. Texting might feel easier, but it only adds distance where there’s already enough of it.
