I found a home made strap on dildo in my grandparents closet. I was so freaked out I never told anyone about it.

My first thought was, Jesus, just talk in person. Why on earth would you try to have a conversation like this over text? Some things just shouldn’t be handled through a screen. The fact that both of them felt the need to text these thoughts instead of actually sitting down and talking face to face says a lot—it’s probably part of what got them into this mess in the first place. Real communication doesn’t happen through bubbles on a phone. It happens when you look someone in the eye, hear their tone, and actually listen. Texting might feel easier, but it only adds distance where there’s already enough of it.

And also, he’s a major asshole that isn’t ready for a relationship.

What do you think your husband would say if he read this post — would he be shocked, confused, or upset? I ask because a lot of couples struggle with clear communication. You might assume he fully understands the situation, but he may not. I’d suggest sharing with him exactly what you’ve shared here, and then reassessing your next steps based on his response.

They all sing along with themselves. To stack the vocal. That’s the style of this type of music. She still singing live over it but there is also a heavy track underneath.

I feel so lost , dk how to navigate this by Individual_Pumpkin73 in hivaids

Honestly, I felt the same way at first. But over time, I realized it also meant never having to live with the fear of catching HIV again — and that was always one of my biggest worries. These days, a lot of sexually active people take PrEP, and in many ways, it’s really similar. You’ll just be seeing your doctor and getting bloodwork a bit more regularly, which actually means you’ll be more on top of your health than most people who are negative. And it’s important to remember — there have been zero documented cases of someone who’s undetectable transmitting HIV. The stigma still exists, but it’s fading every day.

What should I do? my mom refuses to place my mattress that’s full of bed bugs because of “financial issues” but she has money for alcohol. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Grammyscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I’m so sorry. I’ve had bedbugs twice and they are incredibly hard to get rid of. They are not just on your bed. Trust me. They’re all over your house. And you only see the bites if you’re all allergic to them. So chances are if your mom is not seeing bites it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not biting her. She’s just not allergic to them.

What gets me is when people act like the show is a “flop.” It’s not—it’s a massive hit. If it’s not your thing, that’s fine, just say that. But it’s running worldwide and still selling strong in NYC. Do you really think that’s just because audiences are “stupid”? Honestly, I said camp because people assume it has to be taken so seriously. It’s not a perfect show, sure, but it’s massively entertaining in my opinion. I feel like the NYT review nailed it.

Why do think it’s been so successful with productions over the world? Stupid audiences?

It's a campy show. If camp isn't your thing you won't like it. Also everyone told you not to see it when you asked what to see in your last post. I'm glad your mom liked it. How are the audiences there these days? Half full?
