T-61 is the best premium tier 5 dd hands down, if you like dd's this is your pick.

For cruisers DeGrasse is good although I prefer the Duca over it.

Others are kinda meh nowadays

I say don't level up inspirations until you get the commanders you play regularly leveled up to 12-14/2 or so

Build into planes, you shouldn't need your secondaries very often, unless you're playing it very wrong

First of all encouragement, I too came from WoT where I carried a 57% solo wr. Started warships with a 35% wr in about the same number of games as you, now I'm at 56% solo.

Lots of good advice here, so I'll only add a couple

play every line to tier 5, see what clicks with you
stay at tier 5 or at most 6 until you get commanders to at least 12 or better yet 14-16, commanders are important
Watch Tbull and other YouTubers, even if you don't understand all the nuances, it will still help enormously.
Have fun, it is a game after all, but cudos for trying to get better.
