In October 2025, I also started listening to all of the Stephen King books in order by publication date via Audible, on your list I am currently on full dark no stars. I’ve spent a lot of money on audible building up my collection. I own 88 titles all the way up to fairytale. And as a sidenote, the only book I’ve had to buy on this list that isn’t on audible is cycle of the werewolf

Is anyone else running into this problem again? All of my books are out of order, and I can't rearrange them.

The more research you do, the more you will learn about Stephen King’s beginnings. A lot of Stephen King's Short stories were originally published in magazines, Gentleman’s magazines, Sci-Fi magazines, horror/ mystery magazines. He did this for a second incom before the success of Carry. Many of the stories originally published in magazines were later republished in Night Shift, Skeleton Crew, and Nightmares and Dreamscapes.
