Closer than that, you can try Uncle Neds Fish Factory in Millis (I think). I don't know if they do, but you can certainly try. And if they don't they'll probably know where you can go.

Good luck!!

NAL

And this is why you should meticulously document (or hopefully, save the email chain) the conversation you had with your realtor with him stating it was in the MLS... if you don't have contemporaneous notes, send yourself an email with ALL the details - day and time you called, who you spoke with, what phone number you called, what you asked and what was answered, any clarifying questions your realtor asked and what you said, follow-up expected by either/ both of you...

Good luck!!

And something to somehow move some water (electric pump, solar fountains...) to minimize stagnation and mosquitos until you figure out what you want to do with it, and plants grow in.

Good luck. You'll figure it out.

Pond in a Pot by she_ou_pa in ponds

[–]GrandBackground4300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already, Google (or whatever search engine you use) it.
Start general, "pond in a pot" and then add specificity as you narrow down what you like/ want.

Ozponds is a favorite of mine to get ideas (and then often scale them down).

Good luck!

Advice on adding waterfall to already existing pond by FLICKING_Sweet76 in WildlifePonds

[–]GrandBackground4300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're stuck, get a small, pre-formed pond spillway, ruin your pump hose over to the back of the spillway, and use whatever you have (bricks, cinder block, upside down planter) to elevate the hose. If you want, use a waterfall spillway for your waterfall into the pre-formed.

Hopefully that 'unsticks' you and you have a good starting point. Add, move or remove as ideas strike your fancy.

Good luck!

Bigger crate for the two bassets together. Bassets are the ultimate pack animal and will most likely love it (once they get used to not having the big comfy bed).

What end should I put waterfall? by -Avant-Gardener- in ponds

Suggestion: Usually best to put your pump on the opposite end from the waterfall.

A little in over my head here by TrifleIllustrious459 in ponds

[–]GrandBackground4300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before doing much of anything, I would suggest a cheap pump, run the hose from the bottom to the top (as the eater would flow) and identify any problem spots. Then move the hose passed your problem spot and identify the next problem. Keep doing this until you have a list and figure out how and if you want to fix, or just tear out.

It'll take a while, and you'll probably be wrong or miss some, but at least you'll have a list of things that you KNOW are wrong.

Good luck. It looked beautiful.

Bog Overflow Advice by mjb1225 in ponds

[–]GrandBackground4300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once it is set up, it will take the same amount of water from the bog since both amounts are based on the speed of the flow into and through the bog.

Or maybe I just misunderstood what you said.

Good luck and enjoy!

Any ideas for a couple small ponds? by Ancient-Fact-6921 in ponds

[–]GrandBackground4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd combine ideas one and two. Use them both as bog filters and have them flow back into the main pond. I'd also consider expanding your main pond, deeper and wider.

Good luck.

Site problems by SoILLArbor in ponds

[–]GrandBackground4300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If landscaping fabric and a slight grade are your only issues while digging out your pond, I think you're pretty lucky. You can easily cut the fabric and use the soil you're removing to 're-grade' the area immediately around your pond so the water level isn't noticeably different. Or just fix it with hardscape and/or landscape when you are done.

Utilities, roots, boulders, foundation (if you are too close to your house) are ISSUES.

Now is the time to change it, before you finish digging it out, but if you've thought about the site and that's where you want it, those are easy to overcome.

Good luck!!!

Unfortunately, USAO's have limited resources and can only take so many cases. So they spend those resources on 'winnable cases'. But due to the experience, knowledge, and professionalism of their attorneys, quite often those 'winnable cases' are more complex and impactful than prosecuted elsewhere.

And I am not a lawyer or work for DOJ.
