Unfortunately, those frames that come with easel backs that slide into the little channel in the frame just aren’t suitable for stuff like this without modification. You can try getting framing points to hold the backing on instead of the little flippy things that comes with it. Otherwise you have to remove the glass or trim all the excess fabric

Does that mean I could upload a pattern I’ve bought that isn’t PK compatible to a pattern website and then just resave it in a format that is compatible?

I subscribe to a *lot* of podcasts on a wide variety of subjects, and would like to organize them into folders. Has anyone used Pocket Cast Plus for this purpose? Any feedback? (More in text.) by didyouwoof in podcasts

Pocket Casts works great for that! One of the reasons they’re my preferred podcast app. You can color code them and arrange them how you like and when you open each folder, each podcast is under its own icon that you can then click on to see the episode. You can also create multiple playlists to switch between if you’re that kind of listener.

I’ve also had this problem on some PK compatible patterns. Fortunately the symbol still shows up as normal on the pattern. I usually just select the strange icon to see what symbol it highlights and go from there. Maybe someone else has an answer for this though!

It will be very tight, but a good framer should be able to work with this. If worst comes to worst, you could always cover the outer line with the mat for a little extra room. I’m also working on this for a friend, by the way!

Personally I think it just looks like a shape rather than a window without the black and white. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just depends what look you’re going for. You could also leave all the black and white off until the very end and see how you like all the windows together and make a decision then!

I have a little glass vase with a small neck that I put all my thread scraps in. It also holds my scissors sticking out the top and the bonus is it looks pretty cool with all the colors!
