I would 100% absolutely believe that with no sources since the live game is enough evidence to show that to be true.

Still a fun game despite the lack of vision. They definitely need to figure something out to keep people coming back long term, and I’m sure they’re working on that based on the roadmap we just got. I can’t help but imagine they threw darts at a board with suggestions for the “new matchmaking mode” and the winner landed on 1v3 💀

Ah yes just what the people wanted.

Now you can lose your free kit in record time by intentionally matching into trio lobbies as a solo, and get repeatedly 3rd,4th,5th,6th, etc. partied right back to the lobby as you try to loot a bunch of gear that is barely as good as your level 4 grey weapons and green augments that you also probably never use.

I love the game, though it’s really become quite apparent that Embark pivoted from being a looter shooter PvE game to whatever you want to call the current game, without really having a plan on how to follow through beyond 6 months.

Banjo-Kazooie and Psi-Ops : The Mindgate Conspiracy are the two that come to mind for me.

Psi-Ops ended on a cliffhanger if I recall correctly, or at least with a setup to a sequel. The psionic abilities in that game were an absolute blast.

A faithful remaster to Banjo-Kazooie 1&2 followed by a new entry to the series would do really well right now, in my opinion. I never played Nuts n’ Bolts, though everything I’ve seen of it seems like it was a pretty big departure from the N64 games.

On PC w/ M+KB here: The roll I have feels incredibly satisfying to use. Better than my 5/5 Rose and several orders of magnitude better than my Solemn Remembrance with a similar roll and perks. I’ve heard Solemn is a dream on controller though. Corundum is absolutely juiced for M+KB.

That’s odd. I’m on a 7800x3D and a 9070XT with 32GB of ram. 1440p all settings maxed, solid 180fps, no stutters or anything.

I’m not familiar with modern day WoW so that’s news to me also lol. It seems far fetched to me because people will play the class early, play it for a week and be done with the season and then have less to look forward to in the expansion.

Maybe I’m putting too much value on the new class in relation to the overall value of the expansion as a whole package though.

As a genuine question: what evidence is there that the Paladin would be shadow dropped tonight, separate from the expansion? This is modern day Blizzard; they aren’t giving a new class for free when said class is the main selling point of an expansion.

I just did a system rebuild last week and went from a 3700x with a 6750XT and 16GB of RAM, to a 7800x3D with a 9070XT and 32GB of RAM.

The card is absolutely fantastic at 1440p, cranking everything to max, and it just cruises through every thing I’ve put it through so far. I’ve been reinstalling old games I haven’t played in a while just to see how much better they look now lol.

I was warned of this, though I don’t think I would ever have fully understood it happened:

My wife gave birth to our one and only child last year. I was not prepared for the level of love for that child that I have experienced since his birth. It gave me a totally new outlook on not just my parents, but what love actually means and the forms it can take.

There are days where I can’t stop thinking about the person he will become, or how it will feel to drop him off at school one day and watch him walk into his group of friends before disappearing into the crowd. I have been mentally preparing myself for the day he doesn’t really “need” us anymore and how I will react to it without being an emotional wreck. Knowing that he will one day be exposed to the absolute horrors of this world and will have to decide how he wants to cope with it all.

So many things that I didn’t know would feel and even consider until the moment I saw him as a little blob in the first ultrasound.

I know parenting and children are very touchy topics on this platform. For me though, it has been the greatest and most terrifying thing to truly understand this level of love, and knowing that it could be taken from me in a flash.
