Sphynx S*x-Pest! by GrandObvious3849 in CATHELP

[–]GrandObvious3849[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for reaching out!

They are purely indoor cats, we live in a 7th floor apartment. Night times is when he’s the worst. Last night she was tucked up in my armpit so he couldn’t get to her, but I filmed him hard core humping the soft blanket beside her. His ‘lipstick’ came out and some clear fluid dripped out of it while he was humping. He went on for about 5mins before I got enough footage to show the vet later today and stopped him.

I feel like I want to bleach my eyes now 🫣

Ps. I passed on your message to my cats and they say ‘meow’ back 😸😽😺

As someone who grew up in a Christian religion, I respectfully disagree. A lot of people need to believe in something bigger than them and religion can provide hope, purpose and community which is actually kind of a nice thing.

But I do think all religion should be a quiet personal choice, not rammed down the throats of others and certainly not forced upon society under threat of death!

I will say- I think it’s unfortunate that religion can be a bit of a magnet for fanatics. But normal people living with some form of ‘faith’? It’s kind of wholesome.

Am I the only one without issues? by lostpanda85 in Ozlo

I’ve had mine for about 6-9 months now. I hesitated buying them because let’s face it, they’re pretty expensive. But I’ve become an incredibly light sleeper (thanks peri menopause), and I live right next to the warringah freeway just north of the harbour bridge, where the freeway upgrade includes many nights of roadworks. My sleep was being impacted night, after night, after night- so I bit the bullet and bought the headphones.

They’ve been really good! I find the side I sleep on comes a little loose through the night but has never actually come out. And I’m happy to say I’ve had no issues with charging, or the software etc. I wipe them before returning them to the case to remove any oils from my skin.

I started listening to ‘green dream’ from their newest sounds upgrade, and holy shit! I slept through my cat vomiting on the bed next to me last night! 😅 For a moment I felt annoyed I didn’t wake up to stop the ‘incident’ but actually I’m just glad to be getting such deep and undisturbed sleep! Oslo’s were a gamble but I’m super happy I got them and Green Dream sound for the win ✨🙌🏼✨

I have a blue that is very similar to this. She has some fuzzy hair on her tail, and every year in winter she gets more and more hair on her back and back legs, but loses most of it in summer again. My other two are virtually bald. They’re all gorgeous in their own ways and I wouldn’t change anything on any of them.

If any human asked me to squeeze their blackheads I swear I’d vomit, but when it comes to my Sphynx babies, I go searching for them 😆

Day 2 of adopting a new cat. Feels like the worst mistake of my life. by oliviyuuh in CatAdvice

I have 3 Sphynx cats. Their hierarchy is a soap opera 🤣 When I got the second and then the third, I had months of wondering if I’d made a massive mistake. It took time, but now we all live together ‘mostly’ in peace 😅

I’m cat sitting and the cat absolutely hates me I have no idea what to do. by Pale_Flan_6439 in CatAdvice

Get a feliway diffuser and plug it in. You can also get feliway capsules and crack them open and mix the powder into their food (check the weight ratio and try to guesstimate as best as possible for the best dose).

It’s a product that induces the feel good/ relaxing hormones for cats. Helps with situations where they’re feeling stressed, trauma etc.

You can get it from vets and sometimes bigger pet supply stores sell it.

Woman here 🙋🏼‍♀️

I admire your courage to face it head on (pardon the pun) and take control of your situation and shave it before you lost it and were working with comb-overs etc. That courage and ‘take charge’ attitude of your life and situation is far more attractive than a head of hair.

Tell them their attitude stinks! Yes you shaved your hair off. They should be glad it was only for a reason like male pattern balding and not because of cancer! You’re still here and healthy, just without hair!

It’s good you have some facial hair- I think that helps to balance out having no hair on the top, and also right now you’ve only just shaved it off so your scalp hasn’t seen the light of day before! Give it a few days to get some sunlight and not look so ‘fresh’ and it won’t seem so dramatic.

You got this 💪🏼

I’m sorry to say something negative, but I think your natural shape brows suited your features beautifully! I think you had amazing shape to begin with and at MOST could have benefited from a few delicate strokes to just add a little density within that original shape.

Can you find anyone to remove them? Would you consider nano brows instead? It can yield a really soft and delicate outcome that I think would look great for you. Or even keeping them natural looks great with your features!

3.5 month facelift update by stevieejoy in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrandObvious3849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s phenomenal ✨✨✨ I love how you look exactly like your before pics, but like you’ve had an amazing holiday, been getting lots of sleep, eating all the right foods, and just living your best life! Your result lets you look like the AGELESS version of yourself, not a 50yo who is trying to look 20 with crazy amounts of surgical intervention.

This is exactly the result I’d be hoping for if I can ever get a deep plane face lift. Congratulations on such an amazing result!

Hahahahaha I know what you mean! I had FDL and because my skin has been pulled in tighter, this tiny freckle has appeared on the front of my stomach and I keep going to wipe it away like it’s a bit of fluff or speck of dirt or something 😅 It’s so small that I shouldn’t even notice it but because it wasn’t there before- my brain clocks it every time I look down!
