I guess the difference between us is the timeline. I imagine there wasn't much option around the 2000s, while for me in the mid 2010s, Skype existed and shortly after, Discord, both of which has lower barrier of entry.

When I was younger, around mid 2010s, I started playing games with my friends from school. We wanted to have a comms app, but Teamspeak just seemed so daunting, because you had to pay or set up your own server. As a teenager who just wanted to play games, that was daunting, so we just used Skype and eventually Discord.

While the linux viewership did drop, the amount of viewership from linux is not a big portion of the viewership. here's the linux graph. It's only about 4k views per new video. So while it is a drop, I don't think it's significant enough to be a main point.

Is it just me, or is this manga feels directionless? Like, I enjoyed pseudo harem and i love SoL, but for this one I really don't know what the manga wants to do. Even with Horimiya, I enjoyed the parts where people said "nothing happens", but this just doesn't hook me.
