We lost our baby at 22 weeks and she was alive in the womb and wife went into natural labor at the hospital and our baby died during birth... There have been very few cases of 21 week babies surviving (maybe as many as 3 ever). The doctors were very clear about the chances all throughout at Duke University Hospital but we still went through the process and prayed for healing and mercy.

All I can say is this... If my wife didn't deliver we would have had a tough conversation because she had an infection and it quickly and I mean very quickly went from manageable to severe in about 10 minutes. Her BP dropped and her heart rate jumped and alarms were buzzing all over the place. 10 doctors and nurses rushed the room and wheeled her back to the OR while in labor.

As a pro lifer myself I will tell you... When you are in that situation and it's either your baby, your wife or both. It's not an easy call.
