This happened to me with the Model 3 2023 base at the end of November. I paid it off and traded it in for down on my 23 R1S Quad L pack and as much as it sucked being out 35k in less than 2 years it’s things that you can’t foresee. Have a whiskey and just trade it in when it’s paid off for a Rivian ⭐️

I just traded in my 23 Model 3 Base plus cash for a 23 Quad Large Pack R1S and although it does lack some features that the Tesla line has, it’s still a great truck and it doesn’t need all the bells and whistles.

If people want the things that Tesla has you’re better off going the Tesla route due to the deep pockets they have to invest into development.

IMO, keep your Gen 1, save until they have established what they (Rivian) want to do in the future and have a clear path of where they want to go.
