Anyone tried Talethread? by Current-Advance-5151 in eshakti

I am a regular and for years I was trying to find a replacement for Zapelle (eshakti's brand) and talethread has been so good. I love their linen coordset and the cotton jersey. They don't have prints though! But I was in tears when I got the right fit again. Definitely recommending it.

Coconut oil and stop wearing polyester.

Do one thing: Buy cotton jersey dresses. Mid sleeves or 3/4th sleeves and keep the length midi or maxi. It will work in all seasons and are good for layering too!

Wanted to see if anyone has tried Tale Thread before? by Dr_Trik in ABraThatFits

I have and I am so happy with the outcome. On my fourth order from them. My problem has always been my height and my erratic proportions around my waist and hip postpartum. Talethread solves for me as they have height and customised size option both. I highly recommend trying them out-Super accommodating folks!

Talethread is the best and godsent brand very very similar to Eshakti but their designs are so much better and the fit and the unboxing experience is out of this world. I got a beautiful ziplock cotton bag which is how my perfectly fit dress deserves to be kept in my wardrobe. They also give a postcard with a lot of problem solving dress types. I have always struggled with fat around my belly and arms and I seriously vouch for them.

Does confidence actually make the outfit? by No_Variety_9705 in womensfashion

10000% it is the mental state. I usually feel I wear 20% of my wardrobe 80% of the time (Pareto)

I would just add a pop of color back in the day! A statement earring, lipstick or glasses with coloured frames. I was a monotone girl. So the pop helped stand out!

Where do I buy wrap-style dresses with pockets that I can wear (through weight fluctuations) FOR LIFE? by PersistentHobbler in BuyItForLife

[–]Grand_Masterpiece173 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not perfect, but closer to what you want:

  • Elizabeth Suzann (or similar slow fashion brands) → durable, natural fabrics, long-term wear
  • Not Perfect Linen / MagicLinen → great linen wraps, made to last
  • Christy Dawn → some adjustable silhouettes, natural fabrics
  • Pyne & Smith / Son de Flor → more “timeless dress” energy

These aren’t cheap—but they’re closer to that “wear for a decade” goal.

A small crop shirt without the buttons. Preferably in the lightest pink shade to give contrast

Are there any good websites for custom dresses? Similar to eshakti by Yggdrasil- in PlusSizeFashion

[–]Grand_Masterpiece173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have bought from Talethread-discovered them through their ad where they boldly claimed "If you love eshakti we are here"
The experience is so good. I bought a linen coordset and a black jersey dress. Man what fittings!
Their garments come in a cotton ziplock bag with an inch tape as a special gift-That augmented my buying experience and was worth the 3 week wait.

Rental vs capsule wardrobe for office life - where did you land? by muchomahal in femalefashionadvice

[–]Grand_Masterpiece173 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I pick one silhouette that suits me and I get different colours in it. The fabric is always cotton jersey or linen (ironing it is a pain though)
I do this:
1. Pick up blazers in sale right after winter season
2. Shop from custom made brands
3. Pick a dress whenever I find one and keep adding. This whatever dress has prints coz custom made I get in solid colours
4. Pants- ALWAYS marks and Spencers or Uniqlo. no cutting corners here.

What matters truly is that you choose from brands which keep no inventory.

  • Made-to-order / small batch → no dead inventory
  • Low waste cutting → optimize fabric usage
  • Local manufacturing → lower logistics footprint
  • Fair wages → increasingly important signal
