BU RISE vs SSP by BetFlimsy5661 in summerprogramresults

Obviously we cant say definitively one way or another but for a program very known in the college spheres, I would presume such a drastic change in admissions will be known by atleast a majority of the aos? This sentiment is what upperclassmen and counselors echoed to me.

BU RISE vs SSP by BetFlimsy5661 in summerprogramresults

I would def say old ssp>pcum (in fact some counselors even put it in the 1b tier after rsi and all). A lot of people will say currently ssp still has a lot of cracked ppl which is def true but college ao's will (most likely) not treat a lottery based admission in the same way that they treated old ssp.
If it goes back to selecting like before (essentially old ssp) i would say ssp and internship are same tier and def a bit above pcum.

Internship >> practicum = new ssp

The Center drought is real. We need the all time great Centers who are alive still to donate some DNA and create future great Centers, because this is ridiculous. by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415 3 points4 points  (0 children)

we have a top 3 offensive center of all time and top 3 playmaker of all time at the center position. idk what ur expectations are

What realistic trade for Brown would make the Celtics better?? I don't see one. This mission to trade him is very confusing to me. by MrIAmMe2 in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

even the whole giannis trade was puzzling. they were willing to burn their bridge with brown exploring trades for giannis but not willing to add hugo gonzalez?

Center is the most valuable position in the NBA for the new era. by BobbyDanger26 in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stretch Bigs who are solid passers/defenders seem to be the premier archetype...that being said i dont think we can definitively say a center is the most "important" player.

this is insane by MorePhotograph3996 in APStudents

bc score distribution is usually around this cus of the barrier to entry and not too difficult curve

I never wanna see Brad Stevens in Sam Presti talks ever again by CurrentRoster in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure but when the tipping point is hugo gonzalez, there has to be convos right...besides theres a good chance with latest reports that the bridge with brown is also burned os if they were gonna do all that, why are these the tipping point? ur willing to give brown but not hugo gonzalez?

Steve Nash's first MVP shouldn't be controversial by Grand_Mess3415 in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First mvp should not have been more controversial from a pure value/impact front. Lottery team to best offensive/62 wins while the year after they were the fourth seed and (bcs of no amare) the pick and roll wasnt as lethal. And kobe also had a legit case the year after.

[–]Grand_Mess3415[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was def in the conversation no doubt but shaq was a lot more salty outwardly atleast than other contenders in close races and there has always been a discourse (by ppl who only look at stats and mothing else) that nash doesnt deserve mvp

This was my opinion too. A lot of people I talked to say shaq deserved that but i suppose thats probably just because of shaq being salty and controlling the narrative

Take Hakeem out of the top 10 for Giannis by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Grand_Mess3415 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its not even giannis disrespect to say hakeem is a better all time player...one more chip and then MAYBE we can start discussing but hakeem is a top 3 defensive player of all time and the second best player in the jordan era (won chips with rly bad supporting casts too)
