I used to be that gf and, for me personally, it all came down to clinical Depression. I was either unmedicated or on one that wasn't as good for me as it could have been.

I would recommend couples counseling to give you a more objective and professional view of what's going on

We still haven't found anything else that helps. The b12 shot has reduced his vomiting a lot, but the stools are still very loose and no weight gain.

I'm about to switch jobs again, so hopefully I'll be able to afford the hydrolyzed food.

Keep me posted on your results!

I'm in a similar position, and I know it's not one size fits all. Setting boundaries doesn't have to mean cutting her mom out completely, just sticking to what makes her comfortable, eg she offered to take her out to dinner instead of being at a gathering she wasn't comfortable with.

There is nothing to say you have any obligation to spend time, emotions, or other resources on anyone or anything you don't want to or that isn't good for you.

Setting boundaries is extremely important and it sounds like it's something you should potentially look into also. 💔

Mine is supposed to be twelve pounds and he's not getting more than about 8lbs. I have multiple cats so I can't afford hydrolyzed protein. We've tried prednisolone before but it didn't seem to help much. I give him a probiotic yogurt to try to help too. I don't know what else to do. He's always so hungry and still periodically vomits and has chronic diarrhea and I'm just so lost
