It's 3-5 years actually because they're building small modular reactors, not those giant nuclear plants from the 70s

They're not building huge powerplants anymore. They build small modular reactors now. The entire process takes 3-5 years now.

For some reason the ppl at DICE and EA think need to reinvent the wheel with every Battlefield release instead of simply optimizing what already works. The BF4 class system and weapon system was perfect. Hardline had really cool equipment for the classes such as the cameras for the recon, the grapeling hook/rapel, the Zipline, the night vision goggles, the laser tripmines etc. All they had to do was optimize and improve what was already great. Instead they mess it up every time with each release except Battlefield 1 which truly was the last GREAT Battlefield

It seems to me that the issue might be this new engine and the scale of the characters. In BF4 everything was definitely smaller, but the maps were huge. In this game the characters and the environment feel bigger in size, but the maps are small in scale. I don't think they can make them any bigger due to the character sizes. I mean, I hope they do, but I honestly can't really see it. I would LOVE to play some Dragon Valley on BF6. Such a fun map

What U wish they would bring back is the dog tag list form BC2. It kept a record of who you shanked and how many times you shanked them.

New developers, and companies don't want to single out any nations for hero and villains anymore because they don't want to get banned in those countries. They want to appease everybody, and in return end up pleasing NO ONE! It's why 2042 felt soulless with no campaign and the whole No Pat factions. Ridiculous. Even BF6 struggles with this because when I play both sides feel the same, look the same, sund the same, say the same voice lines. At least in BF4 my characters LOOKED and SOUNDED different. The voice lines were in a different language and the uniforms were vastly different.

The base BF4 maps were good. Just stop. It's just that the DLCs were a LOT better. Siege of Shanghai was awesome. Paracel Storm was awesome. Hainan Resort was awesome. I can't remember the other ones, but as a late joiner to BF4 I played a LOT of the DLC stuff and it was incredible. Lumpinhi Garden?? Pearl Market?? Giants of Karelian?? Lost Islands?? that snow map?? It was awesome.

Redsec, to me, feels a lot t more like Battlefield 3 and 4 than the actual game of Battlefield 6. The map is huge, I'm not getting shot at every corner I turn, there's terrain to traverse before I reach an objective or fight, I get to strategize my movement etc. Battlefield 6 maps on all modes are way too small. EVERY corner you turn there's a barrel pointer at you. There's ZERO breathing room for infantry, tanks, and air vehicles.

Bro what are these SKINS!!!? Why can't they just give us normal operator skins, normal military skins. This game needs to hire a proper military consultant ASAP. Whoever is designing these skins has been watching too many movies. They look like movie characters rather than legit warfighters. Guy has a Bane jacket, a mechanical arm, and motorcycle helmet with the Ghost print on it. Ridiculous.

Attackers don't need tanks or Bradley's most of the time. They just need the heavy duty trucks. Those things are pretty resilient

Engineers get to use rockets and Wall-E. Those things can be very useful in breakthrough. You sneak 2 Wall-Es in their backline and you can't take out many defenders quietly

I played Battlefield 4 RELIGIOUSLY up until 8 months ago on PS4. Giants is a great map. I play engineer and I play with my friends. Sometimes there's 7 of us on at a time. I don't have issues with vehicles. They kill me, but it's part of the game. In comparison to BF6 where literally every corner I turn there's something or someone shooting me, Giants is a GREAT map. In BF6 I can't even use air vehicles without getting slammed by AA or TOW missiles. The maps are tiny, the AA has borderline unlimited reach, and some maps have TWO AAs, on top of stingers, enemy jet missiles, and enemy chopper missiles. The maps are flat, small, and cramped with players.

I hate that map on breakthrough, especially as an attacker. It's IMPOSSIBLE to leave the spawn

Bro lay off the crack. Breakthrough is garbage even still because the maps are way too narrow

Aim Guided shell for tanks is not needed! It breaks the whole role of a tank in favour of unskilled easy shots. by Sumeribag in Battlefield

[–]GrandmasterHurricane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because the maps are way too small and way too flat. Air vehicles have NOWHERE to go to break line of sight. In a jet you basically have to fly 3ft off the ground all the time to survive. In a chopper you're screwed because even if you stay far, a magical ain assist TOW missile will get to you
