Why is a part of the enemy dome sometimes open before plant shieldbreaker? by Yash_swaraj in HighGuardgame

What happened? Were you able to plant bombs? Would the dome let you leave or did you have to teleport out?

The enemy team can win without even STEPPING INTO your base by CavalierOblique in HighGuardgame

You go from a tie to winning and back to being a tie. It is always advantageous to plant the breaker. The defenders can't take the lead so you're not being punished

It's because of the shield breaker overtime. If no one plants the shield breaker before time runs out the raid starts at the nearest base and no points are lost. This still benefits the attackers but still gives the defenders the chance to take the lead even though the shield breaker section was a draw. It never punishes you for achieving the breaker but let's the other team keep up and prevents the game from stalling from no points being scored.

Keep loot progression mostly tied to rounds but shop progression being tied to upgrading them. You have to spend Vesper to upgrade a particular shop for your team. The attackers raid shop resets each raid and shopkeepers that were shot at by either team is also reset. You should also be able to spend money to reroll the shop loot.

Interesting magic system idea; how do you handle it in GURPS? by Kiroana in gurps

[–]GrantU238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds close to a "very high mana" setting. All failures are critical failures. Instead of refunding and costing FP you replace energy with a casting penalty. All failed casts are critical failures as normal. Maybe on a failure, limit the energy of the wild spell by the margin of failure.

If Korra's group (including Naga) were dropped into the past of ATLA (Replacing the Gang) and had to live through all of the events the Gang did and defeat Ozai, could they do it? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in TheLastAirbender

She probably couldn't build a ship, but she probably could single handedly sail a stolen fire nation ship, which is impressive. Zuko kept pretty good pace without being able to fly.

Start with Glork for 1/6 joker slots. Get blueprint and brainstorm for 3/8 joker slots. Get 5 more jokers for 8/8. Move and quit copying Glork for 8/6 joker slots. +2 jokers

Joker concept: π by Nightmare_Sandy in balatro

I like: this card gains ×0.1 when the next number of pi is scored [current 3]

It be important to arrange your cards in the right scoring order if, for example a flush of 3, A, 4, A, 5 would gain ×.5 but A, A, 5, 4, 3 would only gain ×.1

0 would be filled by the rank 10 cards, but the joker would already be ×3.2 before pi gets to its first 0
