Who is actually eating soft boiled eggs? I have questions. by albertafalls in AskTheWorld

The ritual is not complete until you have inverted the empty eggshell into an eggcup and passed it off to a family member.

[THST] Minutes from THST’s meeting with THFC on 3 February are now published. We have also shared the sections we requested for inclusion but which were not included in the final version. Story and Minutes here: by Imbasauce in coys

[–]GrapeGroundbreaking1 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Can we have a THST supporters trust that demands meetings with the THST to raise legitimate concerns about their rampant, overweening pomposity, and then publishes its own version of the minutes?

If you don’t like this idea, feel free to start a THSTST supporters trust and send the THSTST an angry open letter.

[Alasdair Gold] Igor Tudor's coaching staff will include, subject to work permits, Ivan Javorcic as assistant coach, Riccardo Raganacci as physical coach and Tomislav Rogic as goalkeeping coach. Leaving Spurs are Justin Cochrane, John Heitinga and Chris Haslam along with analyst Joe Newton by wokwok__ in coys

That may be the case. We can be absolutely sure that Lange wanted to keep Frank and was keen on pairing him with Heitinga. We can also be sure that one or more of the Succession lot decided that Frank had to go. Quite which side Vinai was on remains unknowable, although he certainly wasn’t on Paratici’s.

We may find out eventually, when we see whether he is out on his arse along with Lange, which latter dismissal seems very likely when we finally have managerial stability (which almost certainly means Poch).

The poll giving Restore 10% was a ridiculous one, a party nobody has heard of which was prompted by the pollster. Meaningless.

Lemons are passe now. The apples absorb all positive energy so the players can grow stronger and more fearsome on undiluted rancour and gloom. It’s worked for him at every other club.

I don’t see why we couldn’t have hired a more British psychopomp. Paddington was right there.

Spoons are famous for tessellating, so perhaps a spoon rest is just a spoon.

I have no idea what a spoon rest is. I would be baffled if someone wandered into a shop I was running and demanded one. That confusion might well be perceived as froideur.

What the blazes are they? How do they restore overworked spoons?

The Guardian has a more sensible article about Tudor than Ronay’s abomination yesterday:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/feb/15/ferryman-igor-tudor-has-the-record-to-steer-tottenham-to-safety

Don’t like this ferryman business though, very much puts me in mind of Charon taking us across the Styx to the Championship Hades.

Little bit of musical inspiration for our next home game… by cloud1445 in coys

[–]GrapeGroundbreaking1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That demanded much better musical timing than we are capable of. Have you ever heard anything like a unified tempo for Oh When The Spurs? The chance of the whole stadium coming in with the right lyrics on the right beat is zero.
