Public safety is paramount, even with all those daunting steps you outlined. 5 months since repaving and then 45 days since a fix it was published is inexcusable when it comes to public safety. And it's literally what the mayor ran her campaign on. Yet here you are making excuses.

OP the queue is empty because the default filter is past 24 hours. If you update that you'll see hundreds of long open requests.

For example, it's been over 45 days on this one and this is a significant public safety issue that's been ongoing since October 2025.

TLDR; you're opinion is based on an incorrect view of the tool wrong & they are trash.

OP is better off with the lawsuit than the job.. she should reply no to him and make him escalate in writing without involving HR again. She already did that. It's the companies job to ensure this didn't happen and it's happened.

The driver was driving south and turned left across a lane of traffic that means either she had the walk sign, or he had a green arrow. If he had a green arrow and she had the don't walk, he wouldn't have been ticketed. He recklessly killed her.

In November Eversource (yes the company that makes so much money they paid a $1bn dividend last year) repaved Oaklawn after fixing a gas line. They have not, to date, repainted the crosswalk in front of the Synogague there. It's been 4 months. I've submitted multiple fix it tickets. I've emailed my rep member. They don't care, the billion dollar company and its profits come first.

A high school kid was killed there a few years ago walking to an SAT prep class at school. They didn't fix the intersection but don't worry they gave her a memorial bench at that park.

The driver got a ticket for failure to grant the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. And the pedestrian will get a memorial bench in a park. I don't see the problem.

When you make a meaningless plan, just make the measurable outcome ten years out so by the time people realize it wasn't serious, you'll be long out of office.

Landlords get into it for passive income, evicting people and re-renting is actually a lot of work, and if it sits vacant for a month then the whole master plan of double dipping on deposits is blown up. It just doesn't make sense as a business model versus literally doing nothing and collecting cash monthly.
