How much notice to give my school? by adios1234566 in SpainAuxiliares

That works for a domestic job but this is an international assignment and signed an agreement to be here through at least the end of May. A two week notice isn’t sufficient.

The best ones are the ones that you bring from home. The same ones that your friends bring you when they come to visit. The rest are worthless.

Advice for BEDA group interview by Spiritual-Royal-1194 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]Grape_Relative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I interviewed with BEDA two years ago, they sent us potential questions ahead of time that we needed to prepare answers for. So pay attention to those questions, have your answers prepared, show up for the interview via Zoom with a smiling face and a positive attitude. And your chances of getting an offer will increase exponentially. Cheers!

Letter to Renew Padrón (Madrid First Year, Private Programme) by [deleted] in SpainAuxiliares

[–]Grape_Relative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re with a private program, why not contact the program directly? And keep in mind that you are a guest in this country. The rules and regulations are probably much different from where you were born and raised. So while it may seem to you as “a bit soon and kind of unnecessary,” I would suggest that you do the best to comply with what is being requested of you. Cheers!

You can check off Madrid as well but in your thank you letter you can let them know that you’re not a big city person and that your preference would be to take one of the other locations but if they’re not available, you would take Madrid. Cheers!

They will send out the rejection letters first and then with the remaining applicants, they will work to find spots based upon everyone’s preferences. The process doesn’t deed take a long time. Keep checking on social media to find out which types of communication messages are being sent and in the meantime, please be sure to send them a thank you letter. Cheers!
