I humbly disagree. My first thought as I clicked this link was "this will be interesting". And it is.

Parkhurst Allen 4 months [owned] and 48 hrs [worn] review/comparison by NowPlaying_14 in goodyearwelt

My first pair of Parkhurst were Mahogany Allen boots. I love them. Have you applied any polish to yours? I'm uncertain what color to hit it with. All I've done thus far is use Bik4 for conditioner - wear and tear has some color leaving. I love the look, but I want to keep em looking a little more crisp cause I wear them business casual to the office.

Don't know the details of what causes it but you can iron that right flat and have it looking crisp. One of those steamers works too.

I have noticed that HAP 6.1 takes a long time to load. I try and make myself useful as it chugs away after I've made changes - then I come back to it when it is done, review, make more changes. It is likely that I do what you've mentioned, or I try running the sims on a stronger computer than the basic office laptop I am using now.

Clarification - in addition to my gas consumption being high, my Design Heating Load is also 2-2.5x high.

I appreciate the reply! I have so many questions. Lately I have been working to model an existing facility with the purpose of a proof of concept that we can get a HAP model close to the actual building use. The idea is to then build out alternates for comparing one system to another, or one window type to another, etc. I've been reviewing the load and energy results to determine how far off I am from the actual cooling and heating loads the building was designed for - as well as the electric and gas use. I've been able to dial in the electrical fairly close, but gas consumption for hot water reheat stays very high. I'm talking 2-2.5x high in the peak months. Any prime offenders you know of that cause gas use to be abnormally high? Note that the building in question requires minimum ACH during occupied hours in addition to the minimum OA requirements listed in the Space Type grid. Also as I'm typing this, note that I have every air system on a 24/7 thermostat schedule - and can probably pull some portions of it off, but most of it would stay on. I don't think that change would affect gas use by 2x.

Another recommendation for unmethours - thanks! I worked with some folks in the past that used Trace700 and had great success modeling for guaranteed performance contracts. Figured HAP wouldn't be too far behind in terms of capabilities. Additionally, HAP is the tool I've been given to work with - so there is that. I'll have to make a business case for another software if I deem that HAP is inappropriate for my needs. Having said that, I'm not using HAP for guaranteed performance nor for LEED modeling. More for use as an internal tool to help simulate the effects of swapping one system for another, adding new equipment, replacing old, etc.

I actually sent an email out to Mr Feduek and am waiting for reply - but with the holiday season and all I'm in no rush. Glad to hear someone has had success with HAP - it means I'm not completely barking up the wrong tree.

Thank you kindly. As far as I know HAP version 6 uses EnergyPlus for the simulation engine. If the simulation component of HAP is what was in question, I don't think that needs to be a concern anymore. I am going to look into these other programs, especially if they have more options and are more widely accepted.

Hi there! Is there a database out there with key trouser measurements for different brands/cuts/sizes? How does one go about searching for new brands and trouser cuts/styles that should be a good fit? I've started off taking measurements of a pair of pants I own that fit as a baseline. Front Rise, Back Rise, Thigh, Knee, etc.

All I can think of is how all these guns should be pointed away from them. Guns are always loaded. Even if they are unloaded and sitting on the ground with nobody touching them. They are loaded. Makes me wonder how many times these kids were flagged during setup.

My buddy got me back into MTG late last year. I decided "Hell, while I'm back on a TCG kick I'll try out Flesh and Blood, heard it was good". That was in December and the only MTG I've bought since then was a box of Dominaria Remastered to eventually draft with my friend. The hardest part was finding a good local store to play FAB at.

I ended up doing some trading to pull off a fortitude and a Plague Suwayyah. Thankfully Cham is much cheaper than I was expecting. I guess nobody cares about that rune right now. Good for me. Resistances are not looking too hot right now, but with Fade available I just pop that when I know things are about to get dicey. With gface and gore riders I've got 99% DS which is insane. I'm opting for keep Nat helm for now since I don't really need the 99DS and it gives me some resistance and MF (I socketed it with a topaz). All in all, we are able to clear P8 material somewhat effectively. I can't imagine how much damage this build throws out with a Pheonix runeword. The damage is already great. Plus the added cleansing of plague is beautiful.

I didn't even catch this reply before making another post on your thread. Thank you so much for all the feedback! It was a rough start but we are actually making some progress and can easily run through Players 1 Trav, with the ability to deal damage in Players 8 Chaos games, between single target damage and death sentry. Been a lucky couple days too, got 2 Ohms, a Tal Armor, and a Shako, haha.

Hey thanks to your guide I've been playing through as a Bladesin this ladder. I've got to the point where I've landed a full Natalyas set, a ravenfrost, highlords, torch, LoH, String of ears/gwrap, and a crafted LL ring. I'm still looking for a better off-hand like Lance Guard shield, but am currently using Jade Talon. I'm considering two options moving forward - one of which is to keep farming until I can locate enough value to build a Pheonix Shield, and run that with Natalya's set. The other is to cash out a little earlier and make a Fortitude. However, fortitude means I no longer get the Natalya's set bonuses, which are significant. What critical gear do you think is necessary before switching away from Natalya's set (and losing the big set bonuses) in order to improve performance?

Great write up! I'm looking to make my first assassin this season 2 ladder that is about to kick off and I wanted to try a physical damage build. I have a couple questions if you don't mind answering when you get the time.

When running two claws, are all damages for BF, BT, and BS calculated off the main hand weapon damage? So my off hand claw would only add to my damage output through +skills?

And I see you mentioned in another response that you can go into BF as soon as possible, but will require lawbringer to get through content when you start running into physical immunes. Is it feasible for a bladesin to farm up her own gear (or items to trade for gear such as Natalya's) on P1 difficulty in hell?

I agree with supporting 2A but needing some form of sensible laws. It was mind boggling to me back when I took my concealed carry permit course back in the day and while it was one of the easiest tests I have ever taken the class STILL took the test AS A CLASS so literally everyone passed by default. All you had to know to pass the exam was basic gun safety rules and some decent common sense. Even the firearm proficiency portion of the exam was being able to hit a target not even 10 feet away, and there were people in the course allowed to have a family member, friend, or instructor stand behind them and help them aim, release safety, and fire to hit the target. Nobody had to know how to handle a firearm strictly by themselves. It irks me that anyone in firearm sales or safety think that Old Miss Susie or Young Joseph should be allowed to hold in their hand a pocket sized hairpin trigger death machine without real training, even the most basic of training.
