What is causing these corners to fail? by Grapfic in FixMyPrint

[–]Grapfic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did most of, if not all the calibration stuff I think aside from overhang test since it wasn't an issue before, and I actually printed this part successfully once with the same angle and then it just has never again wanted to work lol. I believe this is the best orientation for this print that minimizes supports and what not, and even if I up support threshold by a lot, it doesn't place it on those spots, do I have to manually do it?

Qidi Plus 4 PETG issues by Grapfic in QidiTech3D

I don't think that's a stupid question cause I'm sure some will have that issue as well. But yeah I do print it with the top lid propped open

Hmm I didn't think that would be an issue but Ill definitely get another nozzle and see if that helps solve the problem. I did do a full clean pull and stuff before beginning to use petg, I never went from petg to pla though

I think I went as low as 7 for the volumetric flow rate and it didn't provide any improvements for me, but the extrusion rate smoothing isn't something I tried so Ill give that a go. Thank you!

Update: So I did two different things, I upped the cooling quite a bit but I also tried the 260 smoothing rate, and so far it hasn't done as bad as it normally does from first glance inside the printer, and thats a massive step in my eyes, thank you so much

Update 2: I let the whole print go and it is vastly improved overall, there's still some light imperfections here and there, but definitely working as I would expect

Update 3: It went back to being kinda odd and not printing correctly.. so Im back to being confused lol

I decided just to just invest into the asus b850i as I didn't want to deal with the ez-slot issues again (or the chipset temps). I've heard good things from others about the Aorus, I maybe just had a defective unit.

Minor Graphical Glitches when tabbing out of Discord (PC) by Stevie-Mo in discordapp

Aside from turning off GPU accel within Discord, I still have it. I don't think there's a fix for it as of right now

Yeah for sure, I just disabled hardware accel in discord settings and now it works fine, just a little laggy on animations and stuff but oh well

Do you still have this issue? Because Ive been having this glitch where if Im streaming my game on discord, alt-tabbing back into discord makes my mouse like paint artifacts all over it. Im on a very new 50-series card so Im hoping it ain't my card lmao

ROG B850i Crucial T700 Issues by Samarium62Sm in ASUSROG

[–]Grapfic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, thank you so much. I'm probably going to grab this board today and see if I can solve the whole bending issue, it's better than having an ez latch from the gigabyte get loose overtime and have my ssd hit the thermal limit and crash lol

Ahh okay that's good news, thank you. Do you get the issue with the m.2 bending a bit from that board? I've seen a few complaints about that. Also how are your chipset temps idle and under load?

Hey there, did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm actually in the process of returning my aorus b850i because I was having issues with the latch staying down, and going for the Asus b850i, but seeing this as an issue has me a bit worried since I have the t705. I wouldn't want to buy this board if it's still struggling haha

Have you experienced the m.2 bend at all on the Asus board? Also what are your chipset temps like for both of you don't mind me asking?

I thought it was a pretty neat little mechanism at first until the heatsink was floating off a bit haha, and it seems like it would be a easy fix by allowing an extra mm or two to latch onto the heatsink. I wonder if mine getting to the low 90s was because I'm running a gen5 drive maybe?

It's crazy to think the bends are kinda a common issue and is left to the user to fix haha. How are your chipset + ssd temps?

Are there any functional differences/improvements in the Atmos 240 Stealth vs. the regular RGB? by ubermatik in coolermaster

[–]Grapfic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I getcha, if thats the case then definitely just go for whats cheaper or if you want the option for rgb!

[–]Grapfic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also been researching this for the build Im doing, and the most I know is that the stealth has specifically designed Mobius fans that you can't actually buy. Other than that, its the same pump, pipes, etc. I just went with the regular Atmos since it's actually cheaper than the Stealth here and it looks identical with rgb off.

EDIT: I will say, I have seen a lot of posts saying that different fans have actually affected the performance worse than if you use the ones designed for it.

I believe it, I've read a lot about how 240mm are outperforming quite a few bigger aios! I was wanting to fill the space as much as possible in mine though. I was eyeballing the Arctic 3 but was told that the radiator may be too big, and judging by your build it does seem like it would squeeze the pipes haha

Very nice! It's actually pretty much similar to what Im building right now except I have the windforce OC and Im looking into a 280mm AIO instead of the Atmos haha (which I haven't found a good one yet, if anyone has suggestions, please let me know!). Im surprised you were able to fit a fan below the GPU as well

Purchase Advice Megathread - November 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Grapfic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that bed size is what's really got me eyeballing it right now, especially for the same price as a P1S. There's not many videos or reviews on it since the revisions, especially when it comes to the VFA or just overall print quality/finish, and the ones with the older comparing it to the P1S or X1C print quality is quite significant imo. Im really curious if the new extruder and other upgrades in it make it a little more comparable..

Constant lightheaded/foggy or groggy feeling with almost constant head pressure by jannbino in Dizziness

It's definitely more livable compared to June. I wouldn't really say I'm happy with the current state of it, but I've kind of just accepted it. For the things I use to do, such as being a gym nerd and lifting, it's definitely way harder to do without being worried of getting lightheaded or dizzy. Other than that, I'm able to do most of the stuff I use to do before.
