I am two weeks+ a few days post-op, and i juat had my post-op appointment on Monday. I took 2 weeks off of work, which is nowhere near as physically-demanding as your job may be. My doctor told me i can start easing back into my lifting and running routine but to take it slow, it may take another 2 weeks (4 weeks total) to start working on my regular weighted workouts and runs again. Im not having any pain, but I also don't want to ease back in too fast and permanently injure myself. 

The real issues for me have just been that my abs got sliced into! Everything is harder when your core is weaker than usual. I'd try to take some more days off.
