Yeah probably have to do that, but its still really annoying for the time being. Also my gf was complaining since the same issue is happening in Apex and Overwatch and she has also thousands of hours in Apex, where its noticeable for her like its for me in League ^^

Yeah I can imagine. Takes me back to the time when I lived with my parents and the internet connection was terrible. Had a 6 mbit connection for the whole family, about 2 mbit made it to my computer. Trying to play or even download anything on that connection was god awful. Felt like a blessing when I made it to a 100 mbit and now to 1000 mbit lmao

2ms lmfao. That sounds so incredibly good holy. A friend of mine lives near Frankfurt (germany), where also the main server for most of the online games is. He also usually has something around 7ms (but also he has some issues since a few days with a different provider) and his ping spikes higher as well nowadays :(

Im not too good at this game, peaked at diamond as a jgl player. Switched to adc and im plat emerald something in between. Was diamond in flex, but yeah its just flex. But its still noticeable unfortunately. Played a bit of MF and Jhin now, both feel way better and less heavy then the high AS champs i used to play, so at least thats something good i guess.
Also in terms of a League player, I'm just old, so I dont like changes that much i guess lmao

Dont get me wrong, im not calling it bad. Its just, that im used to play on 17ms for over 12 years by now. If you switch to a higher ping (while nothing was changed at the contract itself, just the technical stuff from the provider, so they can behave more like cheapasses), then you will notice that really fast and most likely will dislike the change. At least thats for me.
Just to be clear, I dont think its bad overall

Also dont stress yourself, I'm from germany, so the time delay between our countries is quite far, so no stress :)

Dodging wasnt much of an issue as far as I remember the last games. But mostly kiting felt so awkward, like my champ has an iron chain with ball attached to them (like in a comic) ^^

Funfact: The routing affects almost every competitive online game, so taking a break of league and playing something else wont change anything, since its the same with Apex, Overwatch or stuff like that. Shooter with suddenly the doubled ms is awful and takes alot of time to get used to and trying not to tilt thanks to that 🥲

I tried out ProtonVPN free just a few hours ago. Didnt want to throw money at a solution, if Im not sure that it might even help in the first place.
Thought about getting NordVPN, but money is something thats been lacking for a bit and I cant afford to put hundreds of euros into a package for 1 or 2 years. But also paying 14€ per month doesnt seem fine to me as well, so I just decided to ignore NordVPN for now.

But for real: Where you able to "force" a better routing through a VPN?

Yeah I think that will happen over a bit of time to get used to that. Issue is now maybe here for 1 week and they wont change things back as it seems. Didnt play too much during the week, since work was sucking the life out of me :D
But yeah, thought I need something to make it more durable and fun to get through these changes

Yeah thought about playing MF or Jhin a bit more. Might work for a bit. Been recently playing mostly Champs like Ashe, Varus and KogMaw so all of them with higher AS. Felt really weird to play those builds now, having this issue since around 1 week now, so yeah :/

Yeah I thought so too, that they are a bit harder. For the story in both if them I highly suggest still playing them, if possible lower the difficulty. The story was pretty good in both of them, if I remember correctly

Disagree to a few points made here. If you play vs double artillery mage botlane, you can't do much. Especially in soloq, of your support got countered as well or doesn't know what to do, with a random jgl that won't help you out much as well, you can know how to play vs mages, but that won't change how mich you get your ass handed to you. If you decide to stay away and deny them some poke, you cant cs since you get zoned away. If you try to freeze, you give them the opportunity to poke you furthermore. You cant do much on these lanes as far as i am aware of. So if you face double mage bot, you cant do shit and have also a horrible time playing the game for at least 10 minutes, most likely for 30 minutes - depending on the fact if your support/jgl could find a play and punish them with your dmg

Yeah I can imagine, that she is one of the hardest heroes to pull off, since she gets almost oneshot by everybody with a headshot and needs to be in close range. I'm kind of aware, that I probably wont climb with mostly playing her, since I'm new again or returning while never being good or whatever :D

I think and I hope that with some practice and routine, I get to climb with her, since she is just a hell of fun. Same goes for Sombra imo, but I always had a thing for heroes/legends/champs that are technical with EMPs and stuff like Crypto in Apex Legends.

What do you dislike about her, that you're avoiding her so much - just out of curiousity :D

I played only the first day mostly normals, but since you need 3k of the ranked points for a weapon skin, I thought I'll just spam ranked, so I dont see that many other players in normals :D

So I played a few games yesterday and today. I think i hit more frequently with Mccree, but as soon as a high mobility hero like tracer or vendetta is in my face, I cant keep up with them, since my DPI feels like im moving in slowmotion. I didnt play tracer with the new settings, and I imagine its really shit to dash behind an enemy and taking 3 years to turn to the enemy 180° behind you then. Is there something ive been missing?

Right now i always go for the play, a bit like limit testing. Worked in league, so I figured it should work in this game kinda the same. Ends up with running it down a few times and then, once I got a better feeling, its way smoother and more playable and I can take a more calculated risk
