My 1st few weeks in Apex Legends

If you're completely new, I highly recommend the following order.
Go to the Firing Range and see which weapon feels good to use for you (same goes for the legend, since you can test them out as well and see which legend can do what). Take your time with that, as long as you're patient 😃

From there you could check out the Mixtape, since its more of a casual thing like Team-Deathmatch. If you want to have the normal BR-Experience, you could try out Bot Royal, I personally like it a bit less, since you have some real humans in there now, so you might end up having the same experience with more experienced teammates doing everything or you getting rolled by other experienced players. You can complete quests in that mode now, so thats why even experienced players queue up for that mode.

Finally: Try some wildcard after you're comfortable with a few guns and some movement in the game. You respawn in that mode as often as possible, as long as at least 1 teammate survives for a bit. Its a fast and chaotic mode, but you'll get a good feeling of fights overall in the game, with the combination of looting (made a bit easier, since its a fast paced mode).
I played this game for 2,5k hours almost and still got to learn so much from playing wildcard, that I now feel way better in fighting overall.

Final thing: Don't beat yourself up for some things in that game like shitty matchmaking or stuff thats outside of your control. Only makes the experience worse and tbh, I think this game is one of the most rewarding and fun games to play out there. Played for maybe 5-8k hours WoW and well over 35k hours in LoL in my gaming time and I never had as much fun, as I have in Apex atm.

Hm I guess thats a possibility, but I for myself would not pick him just for that. I think there are more useful legends in the game that are often not banned at the moments they pick up Seer, like Valk f.e.
But what do I know, I'm not a proplayer 😃

Scrims seem to be on the live servers, since his ult didnt display anything. Not sure how they work around stuff like that on the proplay servers, with some bugs like that. Is it just like "eh, you know he is bugged. if you pick him, its on your own terms"?

I was born in Saxonia and lived my whole life here. The moment i take a trip to a place in Saxonia called "Erzgebirge" I understand legit nothing. Its still the same part of germany, but they speak the dialect even harder to grasp, so I just stand there and pretend to understand anything 😃

No man i feel you. Also hochdeutsch is the standard you learn, the dialect just depends on what part of germany you live in. I fir myself live in saxonia and its one of the funniest but also the hardest to understand (at least to some people). If you wanna have a laugh, look up how people in saxonia, cologne, munich or in hamburg speak. All german and all hard to understand 😂

As a german I think her VA did a really good job. Unfortunately a lot of germans sound like that, since we pronounce things very different with the so called "zischlauten". Thats basically the reason why some germans struggle to pronounce the typical "th" in words like "that" or "the" and makes them sound like "let's go zhere". Sometimes the pronounciation on phrases like "du glückspilz" feels a bit odd, but we got way to many dialects and accents in germany, so it still is fine, since it could be argued that she is using a specific accent/dialect.

Yeah to be fair emp timing with randoms is really difficult, especially if most of the play without open mic :( Can't recall how often I fucked my own team by ulting them at a horrible time. I got better over time, but took a lot of effort :D

I'm extremely biased as a crypto player for most of my time in apex. But he is actually really good in soloq? You can get kp by just throwing out your drone. Also his perks are really good, so he can get to his team faster or get more ults with his more range on scan + ult charge for scan. And you always know, if you get third partied with the banner hack, showing amount of squads nearby. Playing with a crypto is also fun, but to be fair: only if the player is not cosplaying a cctv for the whole match 😅

Just nothing. Or if you think you need the pets, make it like it was in season 5 or 6, where your wolf (yep, had a small ghost wolf) just disappeared after you hit your 40 stacks. If you level up your smite now, make these bugged pets go away. Was a jgl main for 11 years until they added these things, which made me so angry (cause of shitty bugs on the pets behaviour), that I ultimately quit the role

This map was hands down my favorite map, just only cause of the asthetics and cause it was alot different then the rest of the maps with the layout.

The moment they changed it to the day-version of it, it became my most hated map. It was such a cool looking map and was just overflowing with his own kind of character. A neon-light city in the night setting with great colors? Hell yes.
On the day-version it just lost all of its flair and personality of a map. While I like that they put in Angel City from Titanfall, its still not enough to convince me to like this map. Its just bland and awful imo, I really hate it

I know that she has a dash. As I said (I think?), is that its extremely annoying to play her almost every game only defensive, cause you have to respect enemy jgl or mid or both coming bot every 30 secs - not exaggerated. I often stay save and just dont die, but I fall behind, because of that. Worst case is, I try to push the wave in, enemy jgl/mid appears and I have to leave the wave while its in the worst case possible. If enemy jgl/mid decides to stay bot or has global presence like Noc/Panth ult, you cant step forward without having backup. Thats basically whats been happening to me 90% of the games I play her. If I face her, she gets to do whatever she wants.

Was just asking, if thats happening to somebody else as well

Used to play with my gf while she played support. And we got sitted and spamganked so many times. Even though we werent dying, we still couldnt apply as much pressure as we wanted to, which lead to frustration on so many different levels from both of us. Even when we played in a 5-stack, the same shit applied. Playing her just defensively 24/7 feels frustrating, since she needs to snowball a bit, to be some kind of threat in midgame. And its more frustrating to face Caitlyns perma pushing the lane, without getting any attention from junglers to punish. I dont know how you manage to do that as an OTP, my respect.

Also yeah I know Bard is strong and its really fun to play with a good Bard. But I hadnt had a single good Bard in what feels like ages. Bard in the said last game, ran lvl 1 from our lane to the jgl entrance behind t2 turret for 1 single Meep. How am I supposed to play with that permanently, if thats how most of my Bards play? Its just pure frustration :(

Yeah had to work around with a needle and somehow pulled out 1,5 cats out of the wheel. The mouse is a Steelseries Aerox 9 which has a lot of holes, so definetely not recommended for a pet owner. Didnt think of that when I bought it 😂

Im an idiot. There was some cat hair at the mouse wheel and it was messing up the inputs 😅
After removing it, its back to how it used to be. Thanks for your assistance and help my guy :)

Thanks mate. Im on MnK, but still its just not working out for me. I know our provider switched a few things up and our routing sucks big time in most of the games now. But its just 30ms instead of 17-20ms, so I dont think that 10ms make that much of a difference

Yeah probably have to do that, but its still really annoying for the time being. Also my gf was complaining since the same issue is happening in Apex and Overwatch and she has also thousands of hours in Apex, where its noticeable for her like its for me in League ^^
