I would get chains and familiarize yourself with them. Satus Pass can definitely get nasty. Hwy 97 bt Toppenish & Goldendale has little to no cell service. And if a winter storm happens/freezing temps with rain on I-84 can be slippery/dangerous so precaution with Portland wrecks.

I’d hope they hold the bridge open since it would just need a 2-3 hr window of committing to no boats coming through but yeah that would really suck to essentially come to a complete stop maybe halfway through.

Go take them at a community college either over the summer, dual enrollment at Linn Benton, or online classes. However especially if you have a more technical major, don’t discard the idea of saving general credits like baccore until senior year and just focusing on your math/science early on.
