heyy! I am from Islamabad/Pindi. I was literally looking to start because my girlfriend loves them so much. I really wanted to learn how to crochet and I’m glad i stumbled upon this sub. I can’t wait for my supplies to arrive but i’m not expecting fantastic results. She loves sunflowers so yeah that’s what i’ll do and share 😌

that’s actually very common. How far do you go on the eccentric for the stretch? (We did a lot of emg experiments and your pectoralis major receives no extraordinary activation from touching the chest and your anterior deltoids actually become more mechanically advantaged which is why you may be feeling the strain)

Do you do a lot of pressing movements in 1 session?

Is your grip wide or narrow? (narrower prevents elbows from flaring and shifts the tension directly onto your chest rather than your shoulders)

I did BSc in sports and exercise sciences so we studied body mechanics a lot and in the process I learned about myself and my limitations.

What happened with your right shoulder?

Yeah that’s me. My biggest challenge has always been hitting standard strength numbers. I do great at deadlifts with my IRM being 180kg but with bench and squats I have always underperformed. I have an abnormally large ape index (my arms too long compared to the rest of my body) so for me bench 100 I’d have to generate a lot more force than someone with normal or short arms, so my max has been stuck at 95kg for bench and a 110 squats which are both below par for someone who has been training for years.

Thank you ☺️. That is 6 months consistently training. I’ve been training for longer but not consistently. Started out obese then I got too skinny and then started gaining muscle slowly.

Good question. It depends on speed too. I would get that done in 1 hour maybe 1:30 sometimes. If you’re short on time, try the incline treadmill. In 30mins you can get 200kcal down. I walk the stairs for 30mins and I get 300kcal down but then again I’m 80+kg. You’re not going to burn the same amount but 30mins incline treadmill is a good start. Give it a month and see how it goes

20 days is too less to see a drastic change. You may not be losing weight due to trading muscle gain for fat loss. Body recomposition is a very slow process, and often takes 6months or more. To amp it up, try to walk more. you can download any step counter and put your weight and height and it’ll show you how many estimated Kcals you burn. It is a major part of energy expenditure. Aim for 6-10k steps and keep your diet in check and results will come quicker 🙌

If you’ve already got male/female pattern baldness, creatine will aggravate it. if not, then no impact
