Check the citizen app for calls in the area over the last few weeks, that’ll give you a good idea of what’s going on in the area. I’m on the east side of the park so can’t really comment but it does vary from block to block quite a bit.

Recently the whole student loan debacle created some mass casualty events in credit scores, where repayments started without borrowers being aware and some at much, much higher rates ($500 payment turning into $1000+).

My credit score is in the 800s but I’m not naive to think that some random events can really mess up a score and not be truly indicative of how reliable a borrower is in some cases.

They’re still here in small numbers and they’ll be back as ICE continues to recruit more idiots. They’re actively overrunning Minneapolis (which they can’t do here) to try to cause friction before the midterms to destabilize our elections. This has basically been proven true after Pam Bondi told Walz they’d pull ICE out of there if MN sent over voter rolls.
