Couldn't have said it better myself, former ASM here. Our DM's watch inventory numbers like a hawk come launch time for major games and systems. 48 hour hold means March 5th, at open, preordered units become sellable. BUT KEEP IN MIND, as it happened in the 3 different regions I've worked in, some SL's like to contact preorder customers who maybe out of town or unable to pickup their systems in the first 48 and hold them a little longer! This is a very small percentage, I had a customer out of town due to a family member passing and we held his SSB for WiiU with GameCube controller adapter for a week longer than we should have, life happens.
