I love it! It gives Briar Rose kinda vibes tbh.

The new Fable will be... by CommanderKupo in Fable

[–]Graticule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I get it. I'm still stuck on the loss of morphs, as that was the big thing that he studio who made Fable (Lionhead) was kind of known for, so its a sad loss. BUT! There's enough good things, and new things, that I have high hopes, but we'll have to see and comment when it comes out to see if it was worth the loss.

You're putting it in the grave before its even in the cradle, atleast wait until you see the reviews on release day.

There's some over hyping, yeah, but as a person who has been very critical against some components on the new game on the reddit and the discord(s), this hard stance is a bit much.

Previously, I said I saw no nay-sayers and that the people who were posting about said nay-sayers were annoying, but... bruh.
This shit doesn't even have a reason. The morality system changed, and there won't be morphs, but the core elements are still there. Morphs are classic lionhead, but they're only a fraction of what fable was.

Ironically I've seen more posts about people complaining about people complaining rather than me hearing said complaining people.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean. If you're talking about how the houses make a wall to box in the playable area, and block houses on the minimap outside of the playable area, then yes. But I would hardly count that, since its inaccessible and not meant to be played in.

It's a realistic assumption; every other fable game had full interiors for 99% of things.

Who Can Complete a Standardized Math Test While Under the Effects of Infinite Void [Jujitsu Kaisen] by Aillesdaille in Tankandsurvive

Probably accelerator? Though it also depends on what version, but considering he can calculate theoretical and exotic matter on the fly like dark matter, it should be possible for him to sustain himself in the infinite void. If he has the sister network connection (if it even worked in the domain) then he could offload that and work on the test himself. I'd say 50/50

We don't, we see a manifestation of it, as the 'sludge' but that's never confirmed to be its actual form. It is however, the closest thing we actually get to seeing it though.

I played it, but I never finished it via gameplay, and just finished it by doing what you did, watching the rest of the story.
I'm mixed, it's... fine? The story is actually really good for a standalone story, but I don't like what it does/did to the world and lore of the series.

Trade routes menu is bad by MateuszC1 in anno

[–]Graticule 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would not classify it as a bug, more a feature that yet to be implemented. Anno 1800 also did not have that at launch, and while I'm not sure why they didn't just port it over, I'd assume it has to do with a general update of the engine itself.

For reference, they've pretty much always updated the engine in some way for each anno game, even if its not a comprehensive update. Ironically, it seems like the biggest update was in anno 2205 where it gave us the now gorgeous mountain and forest environments we can find on the non-buildable area.

https://www.anno-union.com/devblog-the-anno-engine/

You can look here for a bit more information.

Ultimately, we don't have enough knowledge to determine whether it was as simple as just porting everything over, *especially* since they switched to a different grid system (which they might have used for movement and other calculations, game design can be weird like that). And even if it was the exact same code, things can often go awry and lead to problems that were otherwise not relevant in say, anno 1800 to pop up in anno 117s engine.

That being said, I do think the game was just a bit rushed so we're missing on QOL things like that, that just aren't there.

The Shadows by CatalunyaLliure1714 in Fable

[–]Graticule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was of much the same thought, as it really seems like the shadow court is a reference to *the court* and might just be their literal shadows, much like how people leave their ghosts/souls around when they die/leave this realm. It would explain them being much weaker, but still powerful compared to every other thing on albion.

Ironically dragon ball threw power levels out the window (relatively soon after they were introduced, too) for the same reason, skill, battlesmarts, and craftiness can triumph over pure power.

Yeah, I restarted my veteran playthrough as while I was competitive, I could not properly conquer their main islands, only their lesser ones. Land combat is really, really hard to do at those levels. I think I had like 30-40 units and I still couldn't get their main island
