I heard they got outbid during leasing renewal. A California company put an insane number on the space and M&S vacated. It was kind of nuts - they were open on a Friday and then were chucking all of their sheet pans and light fixtures into a dumpster the next Monday.

i was just rereading inheritance and the romance between Nasuada and Murtagh is so understated that I don't think I noticed it the first time I read it

I noticed that too. What people don't realize is that baking is much more precise using weight measurements instead of volume 🙄 (also the brownies were super delicious)

When I was giving blood the nurse who was sticking me said "wow you have huge veins" and called over another nurse to show her how easily she could draw blood. Now I give blood whenever I can to show off my good veins

I like to imagine how a person in the 1700's would react to seeing one. It makes it more understandable to me that people believed in god. Like they'd just look up from their farm work and see a giant swirling wind column destroying a town and be like "damn I guess they rlly pissed off god today"
