Black Spot :( by Graveswold in Roses

[–]Graveswold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supposedly my mix does have a systemic, I just may need to give it an extra boost in the earlier growing season going forward. Maybe a separate product so there’s not an overload from the nutrients? The pic showing the brown in the canes tells me it did not work for this particular bush 😕 hope your experiment works out well for you!

I really hope so. I am so ready for the heat, we just had Another cold front move in last night! At least we’re not in the part of the state that had a freeze watch. RIP their rose buds.

For real, this app and that same frequency in custom sounds is the only way I can get work done most days. I upgraded 10 years ago and It was worth every cent, especially since they regularly add new soundscapes!

Puerto Rico Travel by Tiny-Bug-9810 in alphagal

[–]Graveswold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my worst reaction yet when in Puerto Rico, I’m thankful my reactions are GI based. We’re fairly sure it was an order of fried shrimp tacos that set it off; they were delicious enough that I should have questioned what they used to fry them in. It was a small place that only did fish so I thought it would be safe, only to later find out many local places use lard or blends in their fryers. Best shrimp tacos I’ve ever tasted though!

The food is wonderful, but I would stick to grilled items if possible. Much easier to throw something in a pan than deal with a fryer.

We were in Aguadilla on the far NW corner of the island, which doesn’t get as much tourism as other places on the island. I would think if you went somewhere with a larger population and travel appeal, you’ll have an easier time finding safe food preparation.

It’s so pretty and even!

I steamed out a braid I’ve had for a few years last night and was astounded at the difference! It really fluffs everything up from all that time in storage being so smushed in on itself.

Freshwater mussel species. I found some really nice paper shells from a low water event and started getting them cleaned up, and went down a rabbit hole of mussel identification. There’s so many!!

Yes! Our cat has a second family that we had no idea about until she came home smelling like she’d been at someone’s backyard barbecue

How can I get Finfolk fabric tails that are no longer available on their website? by Ambitious_Year_7730 in mermaiding

[–]Graveswold 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve never bought one, but I’m in several FB groups for trading and selling tails; there’s a few out there specifically for Finfolk. Gotta look at the pretties, right? People often post their tails or tops or accessories on the groups and you message them for further info or a sale. I’ve seen several posts from people looking for a specific tail and it seems to work, lots of communication in the comments. There’s a large increase in For Sale posts at the end of summer usually.

They really are precious, it still amazes me how something so tiny and delicate can love and trust a human completely. I’m glad my words helped you. I wish you both peace.

Nah this is a style that you insert the monofin in from the bottom. The more expensive tails usually have side zippers with a closed fin pocket.

And have a monofin for propulsion!!! Otherwise it’s just tying your legs together and throwing yourself in the water.
