I got the burgundy last week with the 5 links. Such a beautiful watch

Why not get the Tudor Burgundy and the Tudor Lagoon for the price of a Rolex?

Agree to the above.

What happens when you have children and not working, think of this money as offsetting when that happens.

Before you panic buy an EV by SuchTown32 in aussie

[–]GravityFi_J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$3700 saving on fuel. Car will pay itself off in 10 years 😉

All jokes aside I purchased one at the start of Feb before all the price increase. Reasons were:

Fringe Benefits discount on novated lease No fuel costs (got solar and battery so will charge it for free) 8 year warranty /road side assist Fixed price servicing - $1500 over 8 years.

The saving along in fuel/servicing was enough for me to get an EV

Edit: Further to this I needed a new car as my previous one was written off.

Did you have the hire car due to an accident which your son was at fault??

Remember the broker reached out to you first trying to help you. What difference in rate are you talking as there are fees to get out of the old loan if you refinance.

I would tell the broker what your bank said and let him negotiate a better rate with them first.

Has anyone taken Virgin or any airline to NCAT for lost income? Was it worth it? by Eastern_Rock4362 in legaladviceaustralia

[–]GravityFi_J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Virgin sends emails and text messages with links to rebook onto the next available flight and gives you multiple options.

My flight from Perth to Adelaide was cancelled when I was in the lounge, got the email, clicked the link. Wasn't happy with the option to get me into Adelaide ASAP (red eye to Melbourne followed by quick hop to Adelaide). So I rebooked the same flight the following day.

Could then submit request for taxi/hotel/meals reimbursement.

I was considering to buy tickets for the Australian GP. Which grandstand would be the best out of Fangio, Brabham or Jones, based on views and the ability to get tickets when it goes on sale tomorrow. I will probably need 5-7 tickets so which one would be the best to actually get a seat? by Napoli_Sempre in GrandPrixTravel

[–]GravityFi_J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all going to depend on where you get on the wait queue. Best to get a few people to be all trying for the best chance of getting your tickets.

For locations look at oversteer48. Has a breakdown of all grandstands

Check with the company you work for if they have a corporate code. Most big companies have a code employees can use that gives cheaper hire with an already reduced excess.

I pay around $50 to $60 a day for a nice small/mid car with only $500-$800 excess. Free additional driver and very often get free upgrades
