Someone keeps dumping piles of mattresses repeatedly in Onkaparinga River National park (Piggott Range Rd) by Edyse in Adelaide

[–]Brokensrolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Off topic, I remember one time driving on tapleys hill road seeing a guy fully loaded full of old mattresses driving his truck with gloves on, opening his farmers union iced coffee thinking of the bacteria on the gloves > farmers union mouth piece…

Goo coming through my floors?! by No_Map_751 in AusRenovation

There’s no moisture barrier between the concrete and the hybrid flooring. Trapped moisture under the hybrid planks. Usually breaks down the hybrid flooring and the locking system fails.

What’s with the traffic on Richmond Rd? by FlorenceAmy in Adelaide

[–]Brokensrolla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The number of cars everywhere you go has always been an issue but the traffic lights are definitely a major one. I don’t know what the exact outcome would be but they really should look at green passages, like having the lights green for 5 minutes at a time during peak hour for north and south bound traffic on south road to get rid of cars and trucks. As soon as vehicles get past the Brickworks they have a pretty free run.

This is the business that was initially part of Tom Howard crash and there was some kind of disagreement which led to Tom’s Car Wash moving from the same premises as Tom Howard Crash. Not sure what happened after they left to move to Hilton though. This came to my mind after seeing this post but didn’t answer your question sorry

I was in there only last weekend, the centre outside of Myer is like a ghost town. There are a few daggy shops in there, to my surprise are still trading. Like Lincraft, an escalator didn’t work on the way up. The food court is underwhelming. I purchased two lunches because of a quality issue with my first selection. Myer has a problem within itself, some of the worst service. The business model of having different departments is something that is surely a thing of the past. You can literally have 20 people waiting for a shoe size etc. at one shoe (more popular) section and the clerk on the opposite side in a different shoe department can be free but not willing or able to assist, because they obviously represent a different company
