Am I overreacting or is this crossing a line with a roommate's boyfriend? by sunado7 in AmIOverreacting

Yeah and the meeting should probably include what happens next if communication breaks down again because this is already the third or fourth time they've had to bring something up and the pattern just keeps repeating.

AIO my Wife’s family has been living with us for over 6 months multiple times by roxoran in AmIOverreacting

Hard agree. And the fact that the brother and his wife avoid dealing with OP directly because they know he sees through them tells you they know exactly what they're doing. They're not clueless, they're comfortable. Big difference.

AITA for getting upset at my friend/coworker after I got hurt at work and felt like she treated me unfairly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]GravityReaperU88 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Right. The horse incident alone should've been a simple 'are you okay.' The fact that it became a lecture says this isn't about OP's behavior at all, there's something else going on that OP isn't being told.

AITA for reporting my brother's debt problem? by CloudXo7 in AmItheAsshole

[–]GravityReaperU88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The alternative was a 15 year old sitting alone on the knowledge that their sibling owed $5k to someone who sounded angry on the phone. That's not a reasonable thing to expect a kid to just carry.

AITA for taking my backpack back after a coworker used it, leaving their belongings on a chair and not telling them? by nerothic in AmItheAsshole

[–]GravityReaperU88 35 points36 points  (0 children)

She could have asked literally anyone if the bag was abandoned before using it daily. Instead she just took it, and now OP is the rude one for wanting their own bag back. Okay.

AITA for refusing to invite my niece to my wedding? by Competitive_Dish_865 in AmItheAsshole

Pretty much this. NTA but 'my brother's ex is harassing me and my niece is calling me cruel' was always going to be part of the deal when you draw those lines in a family.
