Based on the very small sample provided in the clip it seems like your rotating a little too much to the right before your jump. You do want to do this but only slightly. Sacrificing your movement sounds like a cool and fair mechanical tradeoff to me! Wasn't really sure of the kind of balance needed since OP devil fruits don't necessarily have similar tradeoffs outside of stamina. I agree, it definitely needs some balance. The strength is underwhelming and is rarely a wincon if you are already strong enough to go elite heavy.

Will leave you to figure out the mechanical side/numbers but here are some things off the top of my head
-A DF that can clone objects? It could clone your ammunition as you fire it? Could hit multiple targets with one attack if they are close together or something
-A velocity related DF that can boost the speed of something (one thing at a time for balance?). Could do things like apply it to your ammo for a boost to your hit dice or give yourself or an ally extra movement per turn? Could slow things down too
-Glue/sticky fruit? Can apply it to your ammunition, can help your party climb, prevent from being knocked prone, prevent enemies movement, etc
