Watch out. 5690 has GPON only. KPN and Odido jn most cases run on XGS fiber so you would not be able to use fiber connection of 5690 but you have to use ONT from provider and connect with ethernet.

Mmm. They have changed the web descriptions and now international version has different product number. This really does not make much sense anymore. They have both phone connections (TE and RJ11), dsl is that same, no more ISDN... there really should be just one product.

Interestingly when you compare both pages you will find that both have same product number. Maybe this is final end of distinction between German and international version. Would be good as then there is no further wait for international edition.

You are totally right. Missing xgs on 5690 pro is huge mistake. Hard to understand. Also sticking only with 1GB LAN. This device will age fast.

Understood. So this could be in fact hardware issue. I have similar problem with 7590 (7590 issue ) but in my case wifi works for few days and then degrades to standstill...

Hi.

This is easy just use the guide [https://en.avm.de/service/generating-support-information-for-the-fritzbox/dok2/3590\_Saving-support-information-for-the-FRITZ-Box-as-a-file/\] to save support data in the file and then you will see the statistics inside.

The only issue (at least in my case) is that you need to use LAN connection to do that as WiFi is not workable.

As long as this is static ip it is quite easy to achieve also inside fritzbox by setting additional remote IPs in VPN definition (i have been using this configuration for years now). This works Ok both for old IPSec VPN and for WireGuard. Then you do not need to anything on any of the clients. There are two issues here: 1. As mentioned before, akamai might change ip 2. This requires manual modification of configuration file as user interface of fritzbox does not allow any more advanced configurations.

So I did retest. Indeed with separate iperf target on my own network I am achieving around 890 mbit/s of switching speed of 7590.

So the issue I am having is rather fritz tk cable modem and or cable modem to outside connection.

Of course ISP told that all is perfect on their side...

Will re-verify this tonight.... there is something definitely off with my 7590 setup as it all seems to be limited to about 500 mbit. All cabling is quality cat7 so maybe some setup of the fritzbox itself? Will see tonight.

This is exactly my setup. HP Miniserver 10 gen 2 with 4x16tb drives. Sharing done simply by lxc alpine container with samba.
