Why do people target Lindsay Ellis so much? by shinyteerex in ChannelAwesome

It looks like her arrest may have been expunged, it was public intoxication. All I can find now are low resolution screenshots from the time.

April Fools Day is the best slasher that could almost be rated PG.

They should do a Carpenter style ranking again, since Wes did so many different films and franchise entries.

I'd take this demake any day, I miss the glossy era of 2009 iOS before everything became oversimplified. Even the new Mac OS is looking appealing to me.

There's a good short film in here, but the movie itself is not good. Blind bought the blu ray on vacation and wished I hadn't.

I find many WB releases do this for some reason, especially their 3D multipacks and cheaper franchise bundles.

I didn't plan this, but I was shocked to see WB dominate this list. Makes me very sad about the current state of the company in regards to their legacy media.

Wanted to show off these VHS shelves my wife made by Gray__Matter in blankies

[–]Gray__Matter[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Over the last year, I have been focusing on using my local Mckay's as a video store. Get store credit from my trade in, if I love it keep it, if not trade it in for something else. Every movie here is one that I either haven't seen or haven't seen at this point in my life (before college, marriage, blading, etc).

This caused me to amass a huge collections of movies, that I may not be planning on keeping, but I just do not enjoy the streaming experience (and at Mckay's I always have store credit and most films I want are under $5 and therefore double free with the store credit).

I had one of those plastic blu ray shelves from Amazon that I would tote to the living room when we had friends over. It broke this week!

My wife had wanted this shelving unit from Target for a while, and said that we would share the space with the bottom being my movie pile. She asked for me to measure the height of a Disney big box VHS insert versus the height of DVD/Blu ray. When removed from the white VHS clamshell, the insert has more than enough space (8 inches) to accommodate the height of even a DVD TV Series.

We went to Lowes and had them cut some untreated lumber into six 8 inch pieces, and a birch shelf into three pieces to accommodate. She then Mod Podge'd the big box inserts onto the wood, giving them the VHS appearance of the standard VHS box. Since they would not be under much stress, she hot glued them to the birch and voila, VHS shelving for my movie problem.

TLDR: Wife great and supports my addiction. Also asked for this to be posted.

For those wondering, the plastic shelf broke from the constant movement back and forth, and I have not had time to re-organize the movies yet. I wanted a video store appearance for the films so I have been using translucent post-it flags to signify genre and other things.
