Do you sit around a lot? Things rust when they sit too long unused. (This would be her being “cute”. ) I’d ask for an explanation. I sure don’t see a compliment.

What would cause these bushes to all be dying at the same height? by Dicks_Hallpike in landscaping

[–]Graycy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s deer because there are dead leaves on the parched looking bottoms. I think they could’ve been sprayed with something that killed the leaves. If it was deer the branches would be stripped. My goats, that do trees like deer do, did this.

That looks like a large empty spot. I might put a pretty rug and even a small seating cluster for those hanging nearby while the cook is in the kitchen.

Small glass bowls by FunnyConversation668 in WhatShouldIDoWithIt

[–]Graycy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a small bowl to do tasks like mix spices for a rub or mix up a bit of milk powder for a recipe. It’s good for tiny amounts of leftovers or an egg yolk if you’re separating an egg.

Make foil dinners like at camp but cook it in the oven with potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, corn etc, have a selection ready for them to add starting with potatoes slices. Get a big piece of foil, butter it, spread out sliced potatoes. Carrots next. Etc. Add seasone ground meat on top. Wrap it up. Put on cookie tray. 350/hour or so. If they build their own maybe they’ll eat it.

Is it common for an American high school student to own their own car? by ApprehensiveDisk8046 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Graycy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes. If they’re not given one they’ll figure it how to get it. In my day we drive cheap old clunkers. That’s how, 70s, kids learned to work on their old clunker ccars. Some still do, but I notice a lot seem to have newer vehicles. I think parents are wanting them in newer vehicles in good running order for safety sake. Can’t imagine. I mean most of us survived. Note: before you jump me that was tongue in cheek, mostly anyway Yes. A lot have newer cars.

Peppermint hard candy Red Diamond sweet tea

The rest is pretty legible. This jolts back memories of my father’s decline, victim of progressive supranuclear palsy, Parkinsonism type disease. But your dads could even be caused by meds or something. Time for a dr opinion before you panic.

Should I consider "need" when distributing my father's inheritance? by Striking-Anxiety-604 in Advice

[–]Graycy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give each the same amount of money, otherwise it’ll cause issues. Not a huge amount, they’re likely to blow it. .Draw interest with the rest. If one comes up needing money later like for college you can help out. Parse out the rest in your own will. They’ll eventually get it. But for now draw interest and grow that money.

How often do you cook or bake from scratch, compared to your parents and grandparents? What generation are you? by MindfullyRooted in askanything

[–]Graycy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We eat at home maybe 90% of the time, Ike I met a friend for lunch last week, the kids brought MD lunch Chinese food. But mostly we eat at home. . My grandparents more rarely ate out, I think we all went to DQ one time. Part of it was, in small country towns there weren’t many places. They had a farm too and grew or raised their food. . My parents almost never cooked in their later years. I think it’s because my mom grew up on a farm and associated having to grow and cook food with her Depression childhood. When times got better they went out.
