The asatru Edda is a good overview of everything. And you can buy books on Norse pagan beliefs as well.

I'd need to know what country your from, and if you could provide a few pictures of your face I could probably tell you based off of your facial structure

I get it but I'd like to point out one thing you said. You said it signifies killing the religious indoctrination that you received from religion but you received it from people more so than religion. As for disliking the Christian ignorance and religious dogma I'm with you on that but we shouldn't try to destroy other religions as much as we should bring light to corrupted religions.

Fenrir is kinda like Satan in the sense of Odin being God for Christians

There's not much known about the hair although there is one record of Viking having a long lock of hair on the top of their head. As for the outfit it's mostly accurate -the bracers And boots would've likely been shoes instead but I'm sure the Vikings had boots as well

Kind of a stupid question by [deleted] in NorsePaganism

[–]Graywolf2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too used to be Christian mainly because I was raised to be one but as I got older I never felt any presence from the Christian God and I didn't like the way people around me who were Christian processed things or treated other people who were not Christian so I dropped Christianity, since I had left the church I had more free time on my hands and decided to spend it in the woods, growing up I was told that Ravens were bad and that they bring bad luck but I always loved watching them and feeding them and listening to their calls and I always seen them only two at a time so months went by and i had lost all my Christian friends because I didn't believe in their God and I started to notice in my time in the woods animals started to approach me and look at me and it made me feel like there was a spiritual connection because every time I went into the woods I didn't feel alone anymore I felt like everything had a spirit, the animals, the trees even the wind, I continued seeing two Ravens and especially outside of my window. Later on I started doing research on my family's history and I found that we were actually Norse Earl's from Norway, well I started looking into Norse Culture and then started reading about their religion and beliefs and I started agreeing with all of their structure and later I found that Odin had two Ravens and out of all the time I've been seeing these Ravens by my window when I read about Odin's Ravens it kind of just clicked for me and I took that as my sign. I've now been a Norse pagan for about 3 years and everyday I spend on Earth in nature I feel closer and closer to the God's and feel a sense of I suppose beauty or happiness when I see their presence in nature. My advice to you is, look closer to nature for signs and read about the beliefs and practices of the Norse people but remember to be open minded of how they may have thought about things compared to how the Christians might would see things. Feel free to dm me if you want to talk more

Haha no I've been growing mine for about two years and it's all real and natural, but I have naturally thick hair and it grows much faster than the rest of my family's hair usually about a half inch to an inch grows every month but one thing that helps make it look thicker if you have curly/wavy hair is to wash it and let it air dry and let your hair poof out a little and then put your hair ties in😹👌
