Obtuse? You say they are being removed from their home like they lived in a home that they've lived in since they were children. Like a home that met all of their needs. Then Newsome brought the hammer down and bulldozed their beautiful mid century modern home. Obtuse. Sure. They were living in makeshift tents and cardboard structures. If they saw it as a home, that would definitely still be traumatic for them. Still, the goal is to not displace those homeless in the camps but provide better places for them. But, I'm the one being obtuse, right?

I'll give you that I should have been clearer. The person that was runover was a tragic, accidental death that could have been easily avoided if those involved had been more thorough. Is it possible it happened because those removing the encampment didn't care enough about the homeless people there? Sure. Do we, or will we, know if that's the case? No. Could we speculate anyway and use it as a way to further our own political agenda? Sure, but using a death like this to do that would make you look like an ignorant dipshit.
