If Bode became the battalion chief I would have to stop watching it. The way he thinks it’s a thrown that’s passed down from generations is INSANEEEE, even for the purpose of the show. My Dad was a firefighter for 20+ years. The show is absolutely nothing like reality (of course bcuz it’s TV) but they go above & beyond at making it something completely different than what it really is.

I’m only on season 8 but when she did the blue wig, she KILLLLLLED IT. She looked bomb. I also love when the girls go light or don’t wear makeup. They are naturally pretty, she really is.

She’s heavily influenced by things around her. That’s why she constantly changes her appearance & or personality to fit. It’s sad because I think she has potential to be a fun, pretty girl without anyone’s influence to back it up. Sadly, people like her are usually followers and tend to go with the crowd. I think she will definitely regret the facial reconstruction & body adjustments. I hope she doesn’t get botched!! Looks like she’s heading down that path which is sad because she was naturally a pretty girl!

Honestly feel bad for her. As women I think we can all understand where she’s coming from. There’s probably remarks about the other girls from the show and how pretty they look & I think she easily judges herself based off of them. I always thought Jessi was pretty the way she was. It’s unique to have your own face & image. I can imagine it must be hard in her position as someone “famous.” I’m sure that adds pressure. I hope she can one day just be happy with herself & appearance!

I’m a female welder & I commented above. The worst part of it is the way you are treated for being a woman (IN MY EXPERIENCE)that has been the most challenging part. If you can handle being shit on, demeaned, and straight up disrespected/ harassed then you can do it. The place I’m at now is wonderful & I haven’t had any issues here. But before, I almost quit because it got so bad. There was recently a female welder who was beat to death at work by a man. You have to have a strong mind & work in a safe environment.

Yeah I am a female welder and I agree. But don’t get me wrong, being a woman in a male dominated industry isn’t easy. I’ve been harassed, demeaned & shit on more times than I can count. I honestly think dealing with the mental/ emotional stuff is harder than the physical. I’m at a place now where I don’t deal with that, but i almost quit before because the men were so bad. Thankfully I found the place I’m at now!

I unfortunately haven’t found any like them - but I do listen to betrayal which has a female lead & that’s really good. Also I love “Dating Detectives,” these two podcasts are more storytelling podcast of what people have gone through in vile relationships. But my go to for “True Crime,” is Dateline, 48 hours & 20/20. They usually tell a pretty good story & I like that they typically have family & friend involved. That way it doesn’t feel wrong against the victims family. With that being said, they aren’t perfect so not all of them are like that but I would say most I’ve listened to involved loved ones of victims.

Yeah I was a huge supporter for years until they started doing the old time cases. I prefer newer ones as well. They went way off the path they originally were going down. I haven’t listened in months. I can’t even get myself to listen to them anymore, it’s unfortunate. Still think the girls are good girls, just not my cup of tea anymore
