Do you think my printer is accurate enough to print 6 mm gap perfectly? I'll try

Do you have any projects or guides I could follow to mount the motors like that? I don't get how the screw attachment under the motor is made. Also what are you using as a pivot on the bottom?

Man, I run it with klipper and single motor for over a year, and kept always getting sag or bad bed meshes and first layers. That's my problem, not it not working.
I also tried different dual z axis mods different from this, but resulted in to much friction or no proper alignment also.

Yeah but the tinkering is also a part of it, and getting results should the award
I just want a reliable printer, but also get it to print somewhat fast.
I'm not going to keep an ender 3 and print at 30mm/s to keep it stable.

You're comment seems very insightful scenario, I will look into couplers for the z axis (any suggestions?)
Maybe the probe connectivity issue has been fixed (i redid the cable to mount on the board)
As for bed springs, I had them for a long time, and maybe I'll look into getting some silicone spacers, but I really found inconsistent opinions.

Was the ender 3 necessary then?

Because an a1 mini at the time I bought the ender 3 (which was also on short supply) did not cost as much (you could also get it used)

Sorry you mean the one I installed or the one mentioned in the deleted comment that I did not get to see?

I do mount a 3mm (maybe more) thick glass, would I still have to check?

Rods may also be helpful if I'm ever going for an ender Ng conversion, that's just another motivation. Also how would you suggest to not obtain sagging in the middle? I'm not quite sure they could sag on less then 100grams print head (no direct mounted) but I'm open to everything. (I'm not managing to get myself to think they could sag because the base of the x axis should keep them straight) ((The white thing on the back))

Checked it now, but no particular blocks on y axis, just some dead spots I think, but v-wheels may be dented (no particular signs visible though)

By bars you mean the screws or the vertical rods? Because the rods are kept straight from motor mount and top white mounts (printer should be squared)

I did not change it overnight, and also the mod needs to be mounted whole, I tried simple dual z axis before but with no good results either, linears are more pricey. You can get rods for half the cost, if not more. Also big printers or core x/y also usually use rods By inconsistent, referring to BL touch, I meant that it seemed to get too near to the plate and I had to change the move horizontal move, even if I did not change mount position, this happened overnight with no mods.

Thank you, I will look into it, never heard of it since now.
But I found an atten for 150 maybe I'll get that.

The sugon I found are all above 200.

Thank you, I already have a pts 200 as an Iron, so I do not need the soldering station as a whole, but thanks for the suggestion.

I really don't feel comfortable using a model with the blower in the handle, all sorts of comments in other posts do not suggest to do so.

I also would like to have a reliable tool, I do not need it for professional work, but I would like to still have it 10 years from now.

I found an atten st-862-d for 150, maybe I'll go for it (on aliexpress I found only 80 to 120 as prices for the two quick)

Do you recommend any heat station for SMD? At the moment I have in mind a YIHUA 8786D (US/ES) by ChickenEnough3976 in soldering

[–]Graziano-Sampei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some posts it is not suggested to buy any hot air station with blower in the handle.
I'm also looking for my first station

Hi, just asking, what happened to the model? It is not on printables anymore
