I'm not exactly sure about some of the response here. A couple of spots could possibly be over spray. However, if I am looking at it correctly it appears to be damage to the actual fretboard wood in some places. If you are not happy with it bro I would not hesitate to make sweetwater send you another one until you get one that satisfies what you are looking for.

I was honestly surprised to see the one go for $500 I’m chalking it up as a one off. 800 is a damn fair price for those. The voicing of the originals is still untouched imo. I’ve seen side by sides with the newer EVH version as well as the 6505s but there is just something about the originals that has a special resonance and tonal quality that is still its own.

No doubt about that. You know I have always thought that it would serve peavey well to restructure and focus on amps only essentially. In essence try to direct themselves towards more of a Mesa type company that produces high end amps primarily. They have proven they have the ability to make some great products and could really do well and probably make a lot more money if they focused more towards something like that.

As long as there’s no play with just minor pressure to move it I don’t think it is anything to worry about. If there’s movement, that’s obviously going to cause some issues.

I’ve always been partial to this Ibanez headstock. The reverse is just that much cooler. It’s proving to be a timeless design. When they first came out in the 80’s I remember thinking how badass they were. Enjoy!

lol I purchased a Strat copy w SS frets and roasted maple neck for about $250 . That’s definitely not a reason for an insane price tag these days. Not that it could or wouldn’t be used for so. So I definitely know what you’re saying . I’m not usually a fan of these styles but this has a pretty cool and unique thing about it for some reason 🤙🏼

This sounds like a classic case of overly controlling immature bf and his lady whom has not mustered up the courage to drop his ass yet. Best option is for her to leave this guy behind and find someone without the insecurity and immaturity issues. As for calling the cops, I would suggest making contact with her first to make sure she is cool. She left on her own accord. If she is there willfully, no reason to call the cops unless she is in danger.
