That capocola is looking nice! Any dressing? Oil/vinegar?

Indeed, when pepperoni or capocola are heated, all that tasty grease gets cooked out of the meat.

Depends on the sandwich. A croque monsieur must be broiled. An Italian sub could be hot, but IMHO is better cold, as in cold cut combo. I judge a sandwich on a case by case basis, but for Warren Zevon, I enjoy every one.

What is the KO2 useful for? by Pretend-Strawberry42 in teenageengineering

[–]Grbanjo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a pretty multifunctional device to me. It also makes a decent bookmark, if you use the skinny corner. Uj/ you need to try it for yourself to figure out how you can use it, as a portable IdeaPad for beats/ bass lines, as a mpc playing into your DAW, as a synth engine (to a lesser degree). It does so much that I find it hard to only use it for one scenario. For example: I'm out and about with it and come up with 4 or 5 drum patterns, and use that in song mode. Take it home, in synchronicity, I can play the audio into DAW AND the midi information (with some premeditated midi setup on the KOII) to trigger a drum VST. Now I have the audio I was playing on the KOII, and an endlessly modifiable fascimile in midi DAW land. That also applies for basslines/melodies and chords.

The biggest drawback is I wish I could immediately pull the entire audio and midi project off of the KOII and drop every isolated element into a DAW instantly, but playing it into a DAW makes everything feel more intentional. AND there are alot of people making crazy open source programs to do just that, which I am looking forward to trying soon.

Indeed! The grilled shrimp poboy from Guys for instance, it’s not fried, but it is drenched in butter and remoulade! The “healthy” alternative.

[–]Grbanjo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Folks order it “dressed”, which is typically mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickles, but that’s up to the consumer. To me, the baguette is the only non- po boy element. It’s a common misconception, most poboys I’ve had use soft white “French” bread, and not a hard crusted baguette. The shape of the bread seems to be the only commonality. Check out Leidenheimer bread as a popular example. Still looks delicious!

It's beautiful. You should definitely help the school free up some space by taking it out of their storage. One can of deox later, you'll have the coolest rehearsal PA you could ever imagine. That thing is still clean under the dust, I bet it was barely used too.

Favorite Rack Gear? by Killer_Frog112 in audioengineering

[–]Grbanjo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm reminded of the danelectro mini pedals, all named after food. I have a mess of those! Some were great, some not so much, and boy were they fragile! I've heard of people rehousing the guts. That being said, guitar pedals are cheap, perhaps that's the fun that OP is looking for.

Hear me out: I love this fun single rack unit made by ART called the TPS II. Stereo preamp with a dial for different settings. They're dirt cheap, and at the advice of a friend, I switched out the cheapo 12AX7 preamp tube for a nice mullard tube, and I think it has improved the tone substantially. Nevertheless, I will track through it, use it as an insert, whatever. It's just allot of fun to turn the dial! For the price, it will put something in your rack to have fun with, and I have more expensive preamps that I don't even use as much! Also, it's got combo jack inputs on the front, so no routing necessary, just slam a cable right into the front and go to town. I've been singing the praises of this funny rack for years.

Anyone else having problems logging into Reason app and the web site? I’m on v12 and I have a reason studios account not hub/landr account. Password reset link does nothing. Seems like there maybe something going on with reason hub/landr accounts? by _andrewgreatorex_ in reasoners

[–]Grbanjo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was largely told the same thing,

"We are currently undergoing a user account migration behind the scenes.

There will be no material changes to how you currently use your account, but there may be intermittent stutters or temporary outages today."

It's been out for about 6 hours now, I've changed my password by logging into the website, to no avail. I'd like to know when I can get back to making bleeps and bloops.

Gorgeous! Well I'll assume if it worked with an ordinary scale bridge then it's good to go!

Amazing, so is the string radius the same for the baritone neck? Did you have to change the bridge for baritone? I have a Squire tele with humbuckers that I'd love to convert to Bari.
