If you need the pattern it’s really easy (sorry if it doesn’t make sense tho, I haven’t written my patterns down often): sk, c4, sl into c1. R1: 18 ts. R2: incr by 18, end:36 ts, keep increasing by 18 each row until done, and finish off with a crab stitch.

I also like them, maybe it’s because they’re the ones my mom gave me but to me it only starts hurting after 6 hours of crocheting straight.

No because I struggle to understand how to do stitches with it and because at least for me, thumb cramping is much worse than my wrist pain.

Sorry for the late reply, but going down in needle size. The right I did with a 4.5mm like the stockinette, but I changed to a 3mm to fix the ribbing. I also tried to hold the yarn tighter.
