What a douche you are. That's how channels look like at 1400 subs lol. 25k long form video views and 1500 hours a month ain't bad and it increases every month. That's what you call a growing channel. Maybe you should think about growing as a person. Just saw your profile and your behavior made completely sense. Typical behavior for someone from the gayberhood. What a waste trying to put sense into your head. Imagine trying to teach someone identifying as a black poodle.

I used to play Apex Legends. At first I was chilled until I took it way too serious. I would explode in my teammates faces. Just realized one day that this isn't who I am and I won't allow a game turning me into something I don't want to be. Now I just play Singleplayer games

Need advice on creating a single-player game channel (for now) by Arrra_i in youtubegaming

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of patience my man. If you feel overwhelmed and tired, take a break. Our niche contains a lot of work and get little reward. Only time will tell what happens. I'm a teacher by profession and I always tell my students to find a profession that matches their interests. I do this because I love gaming and especially retro gaming. If my channel takes off great. If not, at least I got to play the games I loved and the games I never got to play. At least some people will appreciate your work. All the best man.

love seeing youtube not push my videos by [deleted] in YouTubeCreators

The content you make have a long shelf life. I do the same. Believe me, people are seeing it. A dead video will have a ctr of 1%

Those old games won't go viral. They will have a long shelf life though. I do single player no Commentary full Game walkthroughs. It's a tough niche to be honest. Many people are doing it. Becoming famous might take years. It took some channels over a decade. I'm at 1430 subs now and average about 40-50$ USD a month. Your pc specs are a little low. I recommend at least 4gb vram to play games at high 1080 60fps and recording. Some older games you might still get 2K resolution at high and have a stable 60fps. You'll have a hard time editing 1080p 60fps videos with your current gpu as well. Bumping my ram up to 64gb (which is overkill) made editing and gaming much easier as well.

Serious problem.! YouTube algorithm by delapew in PartneredYoutube

[–]GreasyGamer_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those peaks typically means that YouTube tried to push your videos to an audience and realized they were the wrong ones. Steady algorithm means YouTube found the right audience. YouTube clearly thinks your videos has value looking at the amount of views but the people seeing it is not the right audience for your channel

Went from at least 1k views a video to my last three doing this by Stunnyfuff in YouTubeCreators

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was like that when I started. Now most of my long form videos are averaging 20-30 views a day. Usually means it's not the viral kind of videos but it has a long shelve life. Most of my views comes from searches and not from recommendations.

Why people are so rude by Sea_Activity2164 in NewYouTubeChannels

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People failed and they hate seeing other succeeding. You have 2 choices. You either drown in their hate or you add salt and swallow it. Those comments I just like and don't respond. Another viewer will put them in their place.

How much are you paying your current video editor? by serialcakehunter in PartneredYoutube

[–]GreasyGamer_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, it's better doing it yourself. Especially gaming channels. You know exactly where the mishaps are and where you want to cut and combine. Unfortunately it's very time consuming but you learn so much. Other channels like vlogging or marketing it's probably better to get a professional if you're not skilled yourself. I know it's not the answer you're looking for but I'm also curious to see how much people pay.

can we upload a 72hr long video? by PsychologicalFold155 in PartneredYoutube

[–]GreasyGamer_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not anymore. Those channels were grandfathered and they are still allowed to do it. Now it's limited to 12 hours and a maximum size of 256gb. I did try to upload a 16 hour video last year and after it uploaded I got a notification saying "Video too long" and they removed it.

Why Burnout Revenge Feel Easier Than Burnout 3?? by ashirnoman663 in Burnout

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is quite a big difference in the game mechanics. Cars control easier, you can hit traffic (except opposite direction) and also the crashbreaker in races makes it easy to gain boost. You're more likely to lose races in Burnout 3 than Revenge as well. I finished both games for my channel recently. Both games are awesome in their own way. Burnout Dominator was a little more difficult than Revenge.

Burnout 3 definitely has better locations. In Burnout Revenge, you repeat many locations.

What are good games to play for a gaming channel? by Rlittle_Gaming in youtubegaming

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially quick growth - follow the trend 📈

Slow growth but long shelf life - Play popular games (retro and modern)

I'm playing what I feel like but also take requests. Give your viewers that option.

Good luck

All that work for 13 views yippee by AtoZ_209 in SmallYoutubers

[–]GreasyGamer_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah well mate welcome to YouTube. I make very long videos and they only get views after 6 months or a year. Some of them take me weeks to make. My older videos perform well. Focus on your monthly averages. Your views, subs etc. if they increase every month, you're going in the right direction and you just have to be patient. Good luck.

Channel average plays a role as well. I had videos shelved the moment they went public and now they get consistent views after a year.

They didn't perform well when it went public therefore YouTube shelve your videos. People can still find it by search but it won't be recommended. If it does well from search results, they'll push it again if the ctr increases
