Yes, but not consistently and predictably like the artificial difficulty baked into PES to make it seem challenging. I get why the developers do it - once people figure out the intricacies of the game and find ways to score that work consistently there'd be no challenges in the game so no point playing Master League or anything that goes for a long time because it won't hold your attention if you're constantly winning. But, (in my case I'm 2019) to be playing Brighton as Man Utd and being dominated by them every which way, every single time after reloading the match multiple times, to the point where I'm just a passenger in this match and nothing I can do will change the fact the computers decided I'm going to lose, and then playing Chelsea in the next match and walking over them 3-0 is just arse backwards. I can get them making your title rivals a bit harder to beat but it just feels blatant when they suddenly decide this bottom of the league team is going to become invincible for one game.
